haniger is out..for now...bad
the mariners have streamlined there miner leagues and had a good draft again...good

(mariners nicly filled some holes in the miners notably
kept the pitching theme going..with 3
got an awsome outfield..
and 2 catchers in free agents..is awsome as well
more than filling holes..they kept there strength of what they already have going)


i would normaly have a longer list...of good and bad...but...not much going on on the baseball front
(looking for..international signings later this month )

have a fun 4th..weekend..lol

I would too, I’ve always said I would totally exchange a Cougars season in which we won a national championship but it ends up getting erased and we get the death penalty.

Honestly this season is so stupid and nobody will really take this seriously. I wouldn't mind tanking again on this short season in which this is a complete joke and end up with a top 3 pick next year. I can deal with 60 games of losing if it was 162 games my feelings would be different.

I can handle either way as long as it isn't mediocrity. That gets you no where.

Winning 30 isn’t tanking it though. Winning 30 is kind of what the Mariners have been for 2 decades. If you want to tank they need to be around 10-15 wins.

Yeah something like that should get it done I wouldn't want our pitching prospects going anymore than 5-6 innings at the most and giving our hitting prospects 100 at bats.

Also I am sure as an owner you would hate tanking because you worry nobody will come to the games and lose money but if no fans can attend the games anyway because of the virus then what do you have to lose?

in reality, the ideal scenario is like 20-40 with growth from prospects and leads to another top pick.

I honestly dont care much about W/L, its 60 games. I'm just gonna relax, drink beer and watch baseball. The grind part is basically removed given the short season
