Does everyone think Tauchman is finally heating up, showing that playing a guy for a week and pulling him from the roster (*cough, cough* Connor Joe, among others) doesn't really give enough time to prove themselves? Or will he just cycle back into his first week with the Giants, starting with a multi-hit game, a couple of extra bases in the next two games and then practically nothing? What do you think the Giants have with him?

We, as fans, only see the tip of the tip of the iceberg (no typo). The coaches see the film work, the practice, the workouts and the long term scouting reports. We are woefully ill repaired to offer any kind of opinion on whether he will “show up” or not.

I certainly think last night helped remove the monkey from his back, though. You could see in his face that the rough going was really eating at him. Being able to go to the plate without that baggage should ease him up to be a more effective hitter, imho.

FZ loves the guy so I'm willing to wait and see. He is getting extraordinary run with that .100 BA though.

I thought the coolest thing about the salami (aside from the obvious game changing result) was Kap losing his mind in the dugout for Tok. Pretty cool.

That was pretty awesome.

And who did Talk DESTROY with that chest bump after he hit home plate? If that was Dick, maybe that was what put him on the IL...

Tok is a BIIIG boy... built like a linebacker.

Today is the 6-year anniversary of the Hesto-NoNo.

So weird. I was just looking at his BBRef page this morning. And I hadn’t looked at that in years.

Yeah, his career went downhill fast after that game. Of course, he wasn't given much of chance to redeem himself in the big leagues, only pitching in 7 games after 2015, with just 1 start.
