Bumgarner looks to stop this losing slide the Giants have been on. I have a ton of confidence in the big guy to get it done today on this Fathers Day. The sun is out and the crowd should be loud. Band of Brothers look to Rock N Roll and have a happy flight to Chicago to play the White Sox for two games starting Tuesday.

I'd say a little bit of both. They are trying to move on from Hicks, and showing off EA a bit, as trade bait. I'd have to think he'd be outgoing in any kind of trade.

Heard that Scutaro may become the utility man once (if) he returns? Not quite sure if that's because we are trying to acquire a starting 2nd baseman, or if it's because Scutaro won't be able to play more than 3 days a week.

I also saw somewhere that the Giants had "strong" interest in Jeff Samardzija. I don't really see that, for many of the reasons already stated (Tim would go to FYWW[except when Romo pitches against the Rockies], Samardzija has an extremely high price tag, etc.), but I figured I'd throw that out there.
