As the saying goes, there is a fine line between genius and insanity. Right now, the TicToc experiment falls along the insane category.
I am more ok with it than you negative lot, I guess. He looked good his first weekend and that has kinda mellowed me to his rough numbers since. And of course, he had his Brian Johnson / Matt Moore moment against the hated ones. And of course, since FZ has had a chubby for the guy for years guarantees that he will gets lots of chances that other, apparently better options don’t get. Them is just the breaks.

On a totally unrelated note...

sometimes I log in here and know for a fact that @Sandisfan has been on since the last time I was on without having to click a single link on page.

And I suspect I am not the only one...

It really should be Duggar out there most days, and maybe it is now.

By first weekend, do you mean his first game, when he went 3 for 4? Because that weekend series against San Diego saw him produce a 2 for 12 performance, albeit with a double and home run (he also walked once). That's good for a .167/.231/.500 slash those 3 games. He then went 2 for 11 in Colorado, with 2 doubles and 2 walks. Take out his first game, and his first week with the Giants was a .174/.240/.435. Some good pop but nothing else.
He hasn't had a multi hit game since his first game with the Giants (April 28th). Watch him go berserk tonight to show me wrong for one night.

I was bringing that up in spring training. Hardly a rookie in sight on this team.
I guess the reason we're doing well is so many old guys unexpectedly producing (Posey, Longoria, Cueto, Crawford, etc)

It is pretty unusual for this many guys to have sudden resurgences in their careers at the same time on the same team. Of course, Wood and DeSclafani are suddenly looking a lot less resurgent.

Just saw that Duggar pinch hit for Yastrzemski last half inning. Is Yaz hurt or is that another weird, random move by Kapler?

Yaz banged into the wall pretty hard going for that fly ball earlier
