Okay, maybe not since his future team since they are on his no-trade list but, hey, it may just be leverage to get what he wants out of the deal. Anyway, here's today's matinee lineup:
Panik 2b
Duggar cf
Posey c
Belt 1b
Longoria 3b
Pillar rf
Williamson lf
Solano ss
Bumgarner sp

I could complain about the light hitting Solano continuing to get regular at-bats, but what is the point with this group? I'd love to see Bumgarner bat clean up in a game, just once, before he is no longer a Giant.

Edit: Oh, and I should note that Pillar is 13 for 31 lifetime against Gausman. The only other Giant in the starting lineup with more than 2 at-bats against him is Longoria, who is 8 for 33 lifetime. Interestingly, only 4 Braves, in their starting 8, have faced Bumgarner, and only 2 (Freeman and Culberson) have more than 8 at-bats against him. They are a combined 12 for 51 with 2 home runs (both Freeman) and 11 Ks against Bumgarner.

And, it should be noted, no Braves runs came across in the 1st inning! What a game!
Or the 9th or 10th. Time to end it.

Edit: mac w/3Ks, ow. .133

Mac's days are numbered on this team. If he doesn't start showing something in the next two weeks, I'm okay with moving on. I really hope he starts to play better soon. He is 4 for 42 with 4 walks and 14 Ks since his first game in 2019!

Platinum Sombrero?

I said I wanted him to have at least 2 more weeks, but I am not sure I can blame the org for punting on 3rd down here...

I'm starting to feel the same. And that takes a lot for me to say that. 0 for 5 with 5 Ks looks really bad, especially in the middle of a huge slump. He came up hot, looked hot the first day with the team and has been absolutely Velez-esque since then (referencing his brief stint with the Dodgers).

I believe this was the Giants' first blown save since April 11. They had two in the first four games of the season, and none since, well, today. Dammit.

This Riley kid can really hit, and he's only 22. The Giants would have kept him in the minors for a minimum of five more years before even considering him a legit prospect.
