Team President Gideon Yu told Fortune MacNeil will remain active in the team’s new Santa Clara Stadium project to make sure it’s going to be “the best sports venue in the NFL.”
“This is a dream job,” Herman told Fortune’s Daniel Roberts. “After five years at Facebook, rolling up my sleeves through a lot of the formative years of the company, it was just the right transition point for me.”
Yu previously worked with Herman at Facebook and Yahoo.
