I do not understand this lineup. Posey needs to move down, as he is a dead weight on this lineup right now. Pillar is the only guy who seems to homer or drive in runs, (though his average is low), so he hits 7th?!? Another one-two run lineup. Hope I am wrong.

Marty Lurie said it well, it's not a "rebuild" year but it is a "transition" year, which is basically the same thing

Point being, we have no intention or expectation of winning much, hence Posey batting middle of the order

The official game rules still blow my mind a bit. I just don't understand how someone thought that the 5th inning was good enough to be considered a game. Just sounds ludicrous. Like what if in football, after the 3rd quarter the game could be called because of the snow or something.

I've always said that on a line-drive, you're not suppose to freeze, but go back to the base. Holland partially advanced and was caught. I think on a play like that, though, many regular baserunners would have been caught. Maybe 50/50
