No one saw it comingWhat a disappointing phuking shitshow.
Moundshattery, batdouchery.
Awful, awful baseball.
Yes Nostradomus...you saw Webb shitting the mound and Rodon being dominant. No one saw it coming
Is this what GDTs have come to? We are becoming a bunch of grumpy old men.
I have to admit…Is this what GDTs have come to? We are becoming a bunch of grumpy old men.
If not the Spanks, Earl Weavers O’s will be calling…I can only hope JHL's contract is air tight. After this series the Yank's certainly have him on their shopping list
He's gotta feel great about his performance in the Bronx
Who?sure seems like williams is being more aggressive... i like it
It's pretty normal to stop being so intensely affected by sports as you get older, it's just sports. To a 25 year old it can be like life or death lol. Not to mention, when you win some titles that urgency is gone too.I have to admit…
I am still a huge fan, but after 10/12/14, my obsession has certainly waned. In my fandom life, my team is 3-2 in the World Series. At the end of the discussion, I am already playing with house money. That makes the passion dull a bit.
Sad, but true.
He's probably bailed already because the early innings didn't conform to acceptable baseball. Only thing to do there is bail."Whispers" Don't tell Our Main Alt but the Giants have a lead going to the bottom of the seventh.![]()
As a 12 year living in NY the Giants were a 'life and death' struggle. The Polo grounds could be reached by public transportation and as a kid you could walk freely through the park and rarely were you bothered by where you sat. If I wasnt at the park I was watching them on TV or listening on the radio. I must have broken a few radios in my time. They weren't made for be thrown. The NYG were a big lart of my youth. It's pretty normal to stop being so intensely affected by sports as you get older, it's just sports. To a 25 year old it can be like life or death lol. This is why most people think 'the old days' were better. Most of us were pretty happy being kids and young adults with few responsibilities and young bodies. As a 12 year living in NY the Giants were a 'life and death' struggle. Fast forward 66 years and the story is quite different now.
The magic enjoyed as a young kid roaming tthe stadium has been replaced with the feelings and thought processes of an adult. Baseball is still fun but it doesn't have the sense life and death anymore. As an adult you realize that it is just a spectator sport now ....... damn ..... I REALLY MISS BEING A KID!!!!!!
“Better than we thought”? Maybe. It is still early, we have a lot 2021-ish wins under our belt, but I like what I have seen so far.First EVER series win vs the Yankees
Is this team good? Like better than we thought?
