Just curious, I don't think I have seen Boggs drafted in any of the baseball drafts I have done. Am I just not remembering right? if I am remembering right, why? He seems pretty awesome to me.

He is awesome... But he is difficult to throw into a lineup... He seems like a perfect #2 hitter, but he has no speed(which also results in too many double plays)... He would be a perfect #3, but he lacked power...

But in this mock, if used correctly he could be the BEST 3rd baseman in the draft...

Boggs wasn't always great defensively, he had no power, no speed and made a career off of lazy fly balls to left that hit the monster. Still a great player but I think a touch overrated.
