The fact is defense is very difficult to judge statistical or with metrics, that stat might not be accurate but Jokic has improved defensively quite a bit year over year. He isn't a top 5 defender and not even Nuggets fans believe that but to say the defensive gap between him and the top defensive centers is astronomical is comical. He is an above average defender, the last couple years he has been a below average defender. Some of that is work and the other is just more effort. Anyone that believe Jokic is a bad defender or negative defender hasn't been watching him play most of the season.
