Randall Cobb- I see a huge year coming for Cobb.. I wouldn't be surprised to see him going end of 1st round next year in a PPR.

The thing that makes me reluctant to endorse Cobb is that I know too many Packer fans. And even THEY seem pretty confident that Nelson will be the one with the better numbers. Yet it seems like everyone outside of Wisconsin/Northern Illinois is convinced otherwise. (Packer fans speak up.)

Plus, to me, they've already designated Cobb as the KR/PR. Something about that indicates that he'll be on some kind of "pitch count" in the offense.

Later round steals.

Number 1 sleeper guy is Danny Woodhead. I could see him as a huge sleeper. He is second in line behind the chronically injured Mathews. And even if mathews doesn't go down Woodhead will still be a decent play because he will be used a lot like Welker was as a wr. SD is hurting for WRs so I have a feeling they plug him in the slot when he is not in the bacfield. Point is don't be surprised if he doesn't leave the field as often as most might think. Plus a lot of people don't realize just how fast Woodhead is. He's fast. Really fast. He runs a 4.33 40 yard dash and small as he is he no push over when it comes to breaking tackles.

Ditto.

Woodhead is 5'-8" and 28 years-old. Plus he doesn't have the luxury of running in Foxboro. His new digs have "doom" written all over it.

Sleepers

Chris Ivory- what better way to take the pressure off a terrible or a rookie QB run the ball.

DHB- Colts like to throw and Luck has an arm DHB is fast. he has shown some signs of living up to the first round status. I think with a decent QB he can do it.

Dont Laugh but Kevin Kolb- he was actually pretty decent at times in Philly and AZ when he had time but their lines are terrible. Bills Oline is a lot better and should get a lot more time. plus they are going to run a fast pace offense that should keep the opposing defense on their toes.

Busts

Schuab- His numbers are eventually coming down to Earth and Andre is a year older

Phillip Rivers- I would avoid him altogether he has been regressing and this year has a new system

AP- is he going to have a bad year no. But there is no way he produces like he did last year and if your going to get him you will have to with a top 2 pick and I just dont think it will be worth it.

2 more sleepers.

Anquan Bolden - It's like last year when most thought Peyton Manning should be drafted after his brother. I knew peyton would light it as i knew Demarious Thomas would light up. Well same principle here. Boldin, AJ Jenkins, Patton. One of these guys will be the new D. Thomas. It has more to do with Kaeps than any of these wrs. Just like D Thomas's production shot way up with a top flight QB. So will boldin's.

Another guy i love who I consider a really deep sleeper is Legarette Blount. I think he is better than any of the NE rbs right know and will emerge by week 3 as the primary starter. Again that is one of my deep sleepers. I'll be posting my deep sleepers list soon probably on Mywifehatessundays or here. Depending on how much i can get done soon.

Wow!

One thing to have "deep sleepers", it's another to just be in a deep sleep. Ridley is not losing his job to Blount, his leash is longer than that after a great season last year, and Blount isn't good enough to force anything (especially in less than a month into the season), so I'll have to disagree with that one.

Sometimes I think you just throw darts at a FF cheatsheet for your sleepers (was that offensive? Sorry). Boldin's NOT going to be a sleeper because, wait for it, here it comes...........too many people are going to overvalue him in upcoming drafts. Yes Crabby is hurt and somebody needs to step up but to compare Boldin to Thomas is crazy. Now as far as Blount goes, I will say there is an outside possibility that he could steal a few TD's from Ridley but it won't be enough to make Blount fantasy relevent unless you think he can be this year's Mike Alstott, LenDale White or any of the other TD vultures that have pissed off most owners in the past. I started a thread a while back on just that so check it out if you want. Now that I'm talking poopoo on your sleepers here is one of my own;

Brian Hartline. Back as a #2 where he belongs, another year to work with Trannyhill and Wallace to pull attract coverages. Oh yeah, he can be had CHEAP!

Ok TKO maybe I should call that one a double deep sleeper. But I think Blount let himself go last year. The mere fact TB drafted an RB messed with him psychologically. He is in much better shape both mind and body and i believe he will return to his 2011 late season form. Plus they gave up my boy Demps for him so old Bill must value him pretty high and have plans for him. I think if nothing else he will hurt Ridley's and vereen's numbers there fore making no NE rb worth much. Just my two sense and how I see it but I have been wrong before.

SAm that was not offensive. And yes maybe sometimes I do through darts all though I would call it making an impulse call. I can't always control what fantasy advice jumps out of my mouth but i like to through it out there for food for thought. For the new fantasy players out there you would be better off listing to likes of Joe, Lefty, Sam, Barilko, Sam, Ram, Monkey, Will or the Bandit. My advice is for the more seasoned player.

I think Foot needs a fantasy intervention.

It's one thing to have a few deep sleepers on reserve - and maybe draft one of them. But year after year it seems like you have a plethora of "deep" sleepers. Fantasy teams need depth and balance. Not long shots. When someone unwittingly compromises "upside" and ignores "risk" then you're taking too many chances.

Kniles Davis (at 47 = 3rd round), Eifert (at 49 = 4th round), Justin Hunter (at 83 = 6th round), Blount, Hillis, Demps, Swope. Do you see a dangerous pattern here?

Yes, an extremely shitty team.........sorry about the wording Joe but I don't think there is a better word to describe it.

With the 2013 FF rapidly approaching the playoffs, if you want a good laugh, read page one of this thread (circa 7/23).
