Gobert is such a force defensively. He is a throw-back- but they somehow make it work.

Mitchell is just unreal though. So good. He reminds me so much of Dwayne Wade.

I hope Conley gets back healthy sooner than later. If he gets healthy and they get going the Jazz really might be able to win it all.

I think this series will be by far the hardest series the Jazz play in the Western Conference though. If they can get past the Clippers- I def. see them winning the conference finals.

Royce O Neal is a good role player- but i wish they could have found a way to upgrade that position a little bit.

Playoff P with yet another disappearing act last night. 4-17 (.235) from the field. Wonder if he blamed Doc Rivers for his lousy game? Last season he said Doc was reason he played so poorly in the playoffs.

From nbc-sports.com

Perk has some strong words for Paul George after criticizing Doc Rivers

Small part of the article. Perkins said- "It was a cowardly move by Paul George, blaming Doc Rivers for his lack of productivity, and for not being accountable for him not showing up on the basketball court"

The criticism of PG is unfair imo. Are you guys going expecting him to play great every single game?

He avg 23/9/6 in round one

You -come up with some of the dumbest defenses for players. He's literally famous for his playoff failures. So yeah, it's going to take more than 1 good playoff round for him to change his rep.

Is he never supposed to have another bad playoffs game for the rest of his career? Bad games happens in the playoffs even to players who are much better than George. Look at some of the games Dame, Giannis, and Leonard had in the playoffs so far.

Im realistic and understand bad games happens in the playoffs

Correct.

But hes also right, PG hasn't been an issue overall these playoffs. He had a clunker last night.

But him and Kawhi were the only two clippers with any semblance of a pulse for a lot of the first series.

Would definitely be of his best interest to start hitting 3s though.

Problem is people act like George is a superstar and he is not. He was making playoffs before OKC and had some really good series. Let's quit acting like he never performed well in the playoffs

No you're not. You're full of recency bias. You think that just because he had a good round that it wipes away all of the crap playoff games he's had.

It's not like he just has a bad game here and there. The thing he's known for is playing like crap in the playoffs. One good round doesn't erase that.

The key for the Clippers will be the role players. Kawhi and PG can give you 60 ish ppg and won't mean much if Morris, Jackson, and the others are not doing their part. The Dallas series is a great example of this. All of their wins came when multiple role players scored in double figures

His playoff failures started in before he went to OKC. You can white knight him all you want. Doesn't change anything. He's gonna need a whole lot more than 1 good series. Heck, he needs more than 1 good playoff run.

Go watch the denver and Dallas series from last year and get back to me. He had more good games than bad games.

Again, 1 good playoff round doesn't change his rep.

And again, I said its correct that his rep doesnt change after one series.

I also said he was correct in pointing out people go to far. If George follows up his round 1 with the exact same stats in Round 2 and they lose the series. He won't be the issue. So anyone who insinuates it would in fact.................be going too far.

Lets see how this series plays out. He definitely deserves game 1 blame.
