The team/game is no longer there number 1 priority. PERIOD!

in this game’s history, when the hell was there ever so many injuries to key players at this time of year?

There hasn’t been.

Your assumption that the injuries are caused by load management is ridiculous.

This past offseason was the shortest ever. That surely is part of it. There is also some element of random chance like with Kyrie’s injury.

There are some guys who care more about stats than winning. That isn’t the case for most though. Especially established stars who have the leverage to actually control the team. Winning is essential for them and their legacies.

The play did not get blown up.

Lopez was like the 2nd option after Giannis. He shouldn’t have been there.

When as a coach you put a player in a position that they aren’t equipped to handle, it is your fault when they fail. Not the players’.

Lopez is a feet set jumpshooter. He caught the ball on the move heading to the corner with KD closing out on him. He can’t make that play in the first quarter.

The play was “blown up” because it was horrendously designed. Lopez moved to the corner and Middleton wasn’t even really an option to get the ball because he was 2 passes away further down the sideline.

Middleton should have been where Lopez was. Connaughton should have been in the game where Middleton was (or further toward the middle of the court). Giannis didn’t even look like he was trying to get open. And it was not anywhere near a 5 second violation.

Terrible, terrible play design. Off a timeout a coach needs to do a lot better.

Jesus you can be incredibly stubborn. You're a smart enough guy about the game to know its more than just Coach Bud but its the point you've decided to drill down on so you won't budge. Anybody can clearly see that Lopez fucked up. It's asinine to absolve him. Lopez is involved in the action. They're trying to get the ball to Giannis, but Blake Griffin is literally grabbing him the whole time. It's blown up. At that point, you have to get the ball in bounds. Lopez is open, you throw it to him because you need to get the ball in bounds. He can shoot 3s, shoot them well and he's a good passer. He's one of the better starting centers in the league. He's capable in the situation he's in. It's not like he's some low IQ, paint bound center with stone hands. It's not a bad plan to have him slip out if the action is blown up. 1st option is gone. Now you just need to get the ball in bounds. You've successfully in bounded the ball. It's now up to Lopez to make the right decision. It's not Bud's fault that Lopez got the ball, froze when there was no pass after he caught it, then turned his back to basket, held the ball, and then passed. He fucked up. He played like a player that didn't realize he only had 2.1 seconds. He played like a player that thought the shot clock was off. I'm done discussing this play that ultimately didn't affect the Bucks win.

Almost had a triple double on one leg.

The best example to me of how hurt he was came in midway to late in the 4th. Semi-transition, he turns the corner and has his man beat. There's a Bucks player that is late to rotate so the lane should be open. At the very least, he can draw a foul. Instead, Harden doesn't trust he has the speed to get there so he circles out and passes to a teammate that's catching up with the play. Bucks D still hasn't set, Harden is actually wide open for a 3 so the teammate passes back. Harden shoots and its short. No lift. A healthy Harden, even if he's 80%, makes either of those plays every time

"team/game is no longer there number 1 priority"

Then what is?

Why all the injuries this year? Too quick of a turnaround from last season.
, what are they 80 year olds?

Are you insane? Wait, don't answer that. We all know the answer.

Not defending anyone. Was just wondering what you were talking about.

Injuries happen in all sports. That's just one of many things you have yet to figure out. You fake minor leaguer.
