No way.

Run it back with a new coach.

Doc ain't going anywhere. But I do I agree that I'd run this team back (not like they have much choice). They just need more time together and a tiny bit better interior play.

Yep. Just run it back. Maybe only thing I'd toy with is the 5 spot as you're saying.

We have AD, Howard, and McGee to throw at Jokic.....limiting him is key to beating the Nuggets.

Need to amend that.

Limiting him without a double team is the key to beating the Nuggets.

Play him 1 on 1, make him a scorer instead of a facilitator. Try to take Murray away and limit everyone else.

Jokic would rather get 15, 15 and 12 than score 40. Got to make him score 40.

Sounded to me like he was making a huge excuse. Maybe I missed the full interview, but one part stood out like an excuse.

He was trying to sell the argument:
1) Denver was some veteran team that had played years together.
2) The Clippers had just met each other before tip off and never played together.

I am glad Tim Legler just called him out for that on Espn.
That was pretty weak stuff for Doc to suggest.

Admittedly I am a Rivers critic though....
Have to take his comments with a grain of salt.

He is fighting for his job right now.

Any narrative he can spin to try and save himself, he can and should try.

But yeah. What he said was BS.

He's overrated as a coach. 2nd time his team blows a 3-1 lead since he's been the coach. There's no reason for him to remain with them

Same old Clippers.

It's pretty clear your team is better and will win it all

I would love to see the Heat or Celtics snuff you but it ain't happening.

Tell CL 67 (I abbreviated it), Shaqdaddy, TF12, Shopson that they were tight.

PS: I fucking hate y'all.....lol"
dang, miss that girl around here...

I just think he wasn't able to corral the egos. Half the team didn't seem to want to be there and winning meant they're there another two weeks. Blowing two leads like that is pretty crazy.

So does Doc Rivers get fired with this loss?
In spite of what he did for the Clippers, up 3 to 1 only to lose 3 straight is really bad... Some one has to lose their head

I don't know, but I'm pretty sure Ballmer didn't spend all of that money for this result.

Gave it to himself.

Tell Mecca there's still plenty of room on the Lakers bandwagon and it's like Planet Fitness...a judgement free zone.

The Clippers excuses are priceless :pound:

Really going to use team chemistry as the reason? I suppose the Lakers have all been together the last 5 years... :rolleyes2:

The chemistry excuse is real, imo, but they did it to themselves.

While the Clippers were being praised for their load management, the Lakers were being called crazy because Lebron was playing in every game.

Perhaps there was a method to the madness after all?
