Ok fans, time to check on the old crysal ball, esp, etc and predict out 2nd half MVP. Who is looking good an dwho is fading fast. For simplicity I will keep the same options for the 1st half.

I am going with Briere for the 2nd half. He is catching fire and seems like he has been on a mission since the playoffs last year. If he stays with Leino and Hartnell, he will easily set a high for goals.

If B &/or B turns it up, they will get consideration. Dark horses are any of our top 4-5 defensemen.

If Pronger was hurt longer Meszaros would be one of my higher picks. I have liked him this year.

Unfortunatley I see Briere slowing down a bit, only to heat up in the playoffs (Given we make it. :D)

OTHER. I haven't decided between Carter and deadline pickup #2 (that's right, TWO!).

Didn't you want Ilya Bryzgalov at the deadline?

According to capgeek.com we are $3.65 million under the cap. At a pro rated salary he can be ours. I thought they let himout of his KHL contract. Doesnt he lose it in the playoffs?

WOW did I misread that. Our maximum hit can be $3.6. Has something to do with LTIR.

You also misread the name. Bryzgalov plays for the Coyotes; you were thinking of Nabokov.

Also, according to the trade machine, Zherdev + picks/prospects for Bryzgalov would work as long as Laperriere remains on LTIR, but Phoenix would be really stupid to do that since Bryzgalov is their team. Although they did just take on Rozsival...

Plan the parade.
