Yes it looks like he is in tonight. The Sharks as an organization never comment on injuries so know one really knows what exactly was wrong with him. Reports from the journalists that cover the Sharks said he had extensive surgery on his mouth, nasal cavity, and sinuses. He's also had concussion issues in the past so that is a possibility. There were also reports he had soft tissue damage in his neck.

NHL suspended Burns 15 games on that hit against Morrow. Not sure why he is coming back 2 games early

I wonder what a Lightning tastes like to a Shark cause we are sure going to be shark chum tonight! Good luck Sharks fans, not that you will need it. My only positive in this game, I get to see Dan Boyle play again. I sure do miss him! Have fun and drink some suds!

ISR, what's up with this Radko Gudas fellow & his 63 PIM? Is he just a total goon or can he play?

Gudas is a young player that's a "toughman wanna be". As of late, the past 2-3 games, he has not shown his skills from previous games. He is usually a good passer and gritty D-man that's not afraid to drop the gloves (doesn't matter who the opposing player is, it seems). As of late he has fallen from that and been taking stupid penalties. He's kind of blending in right now with the rest of the Bolts, unfortunately. I do believe that with time and proper coaching, he will figure out when to fight and when not to fight, he will develop into a pretty good, solid D-man that can play both ways, I hope that he keeps his gritty edge to him as he matures. He has 1 hell of an old fashioned hip-check and a really decent slap-shot!

Right now though, the Bolts as a whole just stink with what I call their "10 minute lull strategy"! 1st 50 mins they will lull your net-minder to sleep, taking so very few shots on net. And than with 10 mins left in the 3rd, they start to play strong. Just like last season, they are still the 10 minutemen!
