2026 White Sox Season Thread

Might as well get this going.

Opening day on the road was an embarrassment...but I'm hopeful that our young talent can at least show enough that there can be some competitive baseball.

Maybe the Munetaka guy had it dead to rights by joining our team...It's like playing in the minors where there is zero expectation of wining but getting all your reps against major league talent. Visibility and experience without the pressure of performing on a competitor.

Opening weekend disaster. Brewers are obviously a decent team...but man not winning at least 1/3 to start the season is disappointing. This team just sucks the life out of you early and often.

Well, he was ROY, a 3x all-star, won a gold glove, had 1,600+ hits for us, and is probably our most successful manager in... well... like over a century.

It's sort of sad, yes. However, for this organization? Yeah, I guess that gets you into our HOF.

I think the White Sox have a nice future. They got nice value for Crochet, Chase Meidroth, Kyle Teel and Braden Montgomery. Colston Montgomery will hit. And signing Murakami was a home rum. I thought he was a steal. Pitching id thin but Hagen Smith should beup before October. And y'all have the #1 pick. No pitcher worthy of #1 but UCLA IF Roch Cholowski looks like a future all star

stop drinking that "home rum". the sox 'nice future' is very far away! (and crochet is one of the best pitchers in the game and the sox got 3 average players in return . . . all fingers crossed guys).

Murakami is tied for the league lead in HRs but somehow has no doubles - 23 hits, 12 singles and 11 HRs. Don’t think that bodes well for his power’s sustainability.
