I would love to call the Dolphins back to ask about Willie Gay. They drafted Rodriguez in the 2nd and Louis in the 4th, so maybe they would talk. They just as likely would want to keep him to ease the youngsters in though.

IMHO, barring injury, we have incredible secondary talent that has the potential to make all the other aspects of the defense appear better than they really are. Hopefully they have the run defense figured out up front and we’ll be off to the races.

And DL Matt Henningsen is lost for the season after tearing his Achilles. He tore his other one last year in Santa Clara during joint practice with the Niners.
