Schedule looks more difficult right now, but you really never can tell
The Niners stars are aging, the rams may have to find a new QB, the cards will be the cards.

Last Hawks game I went to in Philly was one of the coldest games I've been too. Seattle had a sizeable lead where 70% of the stadium was gone mid 3rd quarter and I took off early 4th quarter.

Schedule does look tougher but we'll see how cuts, FA and the draft will shape these teams.

Rams may have to find a new QB? Why? Because Matt had a Back issue? Those can be fixed with rest and he was the best QB in the NFL this year. Nah that man is aging Backwards. He looked younger this year than he did the past 3 years. I mean he ACTUALLY LOOKED YOUNGER and played like he was younger. thats some voodoo shit there lol.

I like the look of next years schedule, lots of tough games. This will really battle test the team in 2026.

Lot tougher schedule by the looks of it.

I do like that only 3 away games (non-division) are far to travel. LV and Denver is no biggie. Let's hope we don't have a stupid London game.

hes going to be 38, theres no way he repeats the season he had this year. who knows, he may retire.

at least one of those games will be prime time too, i like the sound of only two 10am games.

Doubt it. Rams have two first round picks - and the class is decent at WR. They could just flat out add a starter OL and a WR with their earlier 1st round pick (thanks to Atlanta) to help Stafford even more. Their defense could use some help in the secondary, but the draft is very deep there - so they could add it with a 2nd.

Stafford is coming off his BEST season ever... and looked the part, and had pretty good protection (< 30 sacks) with LA. I HIGHLY doubt he'd retire. That's nuts. I know he's about to turn 38, but still...

Eh - I don't think he needs to throw 40 TDs to keep the Rams relevant and in competition for the division/NFC given their defense is where they're at. Hell Darnold barely got to 25 and we won the NFC lol.

And Rams should be able to get him even more help with all their draft ammo - and they have a large amount of cap space.

Matt will play as good in 2026 as he did this year with maybe a drop in TD passes because we all know Puka won't have another season like this one ( Just like JSN ). Then again if they add another stud WR maybe his production goes up. Matt still has the arm talent and never was a QB that needed to run around much. He reads defense as good as anyone and has the arm to do it as good as anyone and is just a physically STRONG QB. Yeah wishful thinking that he falls off a cliff when he LOOKS to be getting younger lol.

Looking back on it I wish the Hawks would have traded Russell Wilson to the Lions for Stafford! lol He has been a better QB in his 30's than he was in his 20's.

The schedule will be the schedule and it means absolutely nothing other than giving Vegas their idiotic betting odds. Saying it's going to much tougher is all well and good but for all we know, that could be completely false. Granted, the NFCS is a joke this year but going into it, literally everybody thought Tampa and Atlanta would be better than they were. The AFCS turned out to be one of the tougher divisions in the league with Jax and Houston being considered real SB contenders right now in the AFC and the AFCN which is supposedly so tough was nothing but a bunch of tomato cans with big names and nothing else. WE will see how things play out but I don't believe S.O.S. means a damn thing in football really. At least, not 9 months before the season starts or even going into a season. S.O.S. is more of a revisionist look back at why teams might have gotten a few wins more than expected. But even then, it's more about defense A matching up to offense B than just a blanket team A is better on paper than team B. Oh well , fun to speculate for some but not my cup o tea. Have more important things to think about like this years play-offs and hoping the boys can make a legitimate run. And really hoping for a Green Bay upset in Chicago this week.

True.

It really depends on what teams get injuries and whether teams make a step forwards/backwards in the offseason. A lot of those opponents faced some pretty cupcake teams this season to get a great win/loss ratio. That said, Seattle also had their fair share of injured teams to deal with (Colts, Commandoskins, and Minny) so that's also relevant.

In any event, at first glance it certainly looks harder than this year. But fortunately almost everyone is returning. K9, Woolen, Mafe, Bryant are the only notable pieces leaving and Mafe wasn't even starting, and Charbs was doing well too... so Woolen and Bryant... turns out this draft is probably the best/deepest at DB - so there ya go. WR is another thing we need to address, but oh shocker - the draft is good there too lol. Every other draft position outside of DL sucks.

I agree. I rarely go by the strength of schedule each year. Because there are always teams that are picked to not do well but end up doing very well at the end… And teams that are picked to do very well, do not do very well throughout the year. It’s like that every year.

For example, if you had the ravens, Chiefs, Buccaneers, Cowboys, commanders, etc., on the schedule this year they would’ve increased your SOS schedule in the category. If they ended up not playing up expectations then it turned out to be an easier schedule.

On the other side, the Jaguars, Broncos, bears, and the Seahawks were not predicted to do as well and they ended up doing great. So that moves the pendulum on the weakness side of the schedule.

I’d be more curious to see what the strength of schedule looks like at the beginning of the year and then see what the strength of schedule looks at the end of the year for each team
