By then, the billionaires will be dead, I'll be dead and it won't matter to me!Until they chase off all the casual fans and infuriate the real fans and start losing money!
Yeah I don't see the Pats winning the season opener. But I think that loss lights a fire.Seattle will be a tough game.
Last year mistakes beat the Patriots, the Steelers did not. Lets hope the Pats can play mistake free.
I just don't see Jacksonville as a threat. Maybe the haircut will change that...?
The Pats beat Buffalo in Buffalo last year and then failed to capitalize on an early lead at home. Killer instinct and put buffalo away and embarass the new Head Coach early.
Ohhh yeah odd ball streaming games etc. Its getting worse. My dad RIP said he flat out would not pay for additional streaming.Until they chase off all the casual fans and infuriate the real fans and start losing money!
After the game, the Bills stand in disbalief on the field as the victorious Patriots head for the tunnel.Buffalo Bills. Bills went to Houston Week 1 and the Texans immediately handed them a wake up call and and a loss. The Bills then came home to their brand new stadium and have beaten the Lions and the Chargers and now get to play at home for the third week in a row. Sadly for the Bills, it's a repeat of 2025 and the Patriots give them their first loss in the new Highmark Stadium 24-23. Strange as it may seem....Last year the Patriots were 2-2 after four games and the Bills were 4-0. What a difference a year makes.
Well being a Notre Dame fan I can tell you that price is the real deal. And it was at Seattle defense that was the problem New England couldn't move the ball we'll see how it pans out butSeattle Seahawks - Kenneth Walker III was almost 40% of the Seahawks offense in 2025. He ran for over 100 yards against the NE Patriots in the Super Bowl and was that SB MVP. He is now with the KC Chiefs. Seahawks drafted ND RB Price to fill huge shoes. They do have two outstanding WR Njiba and Shaheed, but without a true stud RB, can Darnold repeat 2025? Game 1 - Wednesday Night in Seattle with a ravenous 12th Player screeching at the top of their lungs on every offensive play by the Patriots could be a problem. 3rd year QB Drake Maye will silence the screamers and Seattle will be exposed. Patriots pull a 17-14 upset.
Pittsburgh Steelers. Pittsburgh starts their 2026 season at home against the Atlanta Falcons. Then they have to go on the road and face the Patriots at the their home opener. Patriots have sent a message to the league doubters that 2025 may have been against a very weak schedule, but they were not a weak team and beat the 2026 SB Champs at home after being embarrassed by them in that SB. Steeler QB Aaron Rogers will show his age against the much faster 2026 patriots defense as the Patriots offense also comes alive and defeats the Steelers 31-13.
Jacksonville Jaguars. Week 3 finds the NE Patriots in Jacksonville against the Jaguars who started off the season with a win against the Browns and then ran into a buzzsaw in Denver against the Broncos. The Jags will face an even tougher defense this week and will struggle from the opening kickoff. Patriots make a few blunders but walk away 37-24 winners.
Buffalo Bills. Bills went to Houston Week 1 and the Texans immediately handed them a wake up call and and a loss. Ho
How do you think the season ends if they pass that test.
They also added some quality FAs. I'm ok with 12-5 with that SOS.I think we got better during the offseason. Love our first 3 players drafted. I have no reason not to believe that Maye is going to be better than last year. 12-5 seems like a doable number.
Maye had a significant injury and Campbell wasn't healed enough. I'm not projecting anything, just adding a reason to believe the ball will move better than the last game.Well being a Notre Dame fan I can tell you that price is the real deal. True, if NE stand a chance they have to get an early lead like 10 or 14 in hopes of quieting the crowd. I suspect all pre season Pats will be practicing the silent count, they have to.Seattle has been a tough opponent for the Patriots. They have not beat them in the regular season since 2008. Some of those games though have been some great battles. I would expect opening game to be the same. That crowd though celebrating their Super Bowl win will be going crazy! I've been in that stadium a time or two when I lived in Seattle and it is no joke how loud that place gets. I've been in KC before and I would say Seattle's was louder.
I agree.Maye had a significant injury and Campbell wasn't healed enough. I'm not projecting anything, just adding a reason to believe the ball will move better than the last game.

And the variuos news articles are still almost entirely about the Russini scandal! The league spring meetings opened on Tuesday in Orlando. Not as much as a burp or fart has been heard. No trade talk, no league rule changes, nothing. My guess is that the league told everyone to send a go-fer since none of the owners, GMs or Coaches had reserved a room.
Profile was so low that even the newspapers kept their team associated "sources" home.Everyone is waiting for Monday June 1st to see what's happening with salary dumps.
Just read a ranking of GM'sAnd the variuos news articles are still almost entirely about the Russini scandal!
