He is going to start I would guess the first part of the year ...They probably had to pay a little extra

6th rd pick which is about what you would expect. Wouldn't be surprising if he had to start the first couple of games. However, it is the Chiefs. Bank on him being 100% by April 1st. :D

Broncos cornerback Riley Moss got the biggest bonus on the team when the NFL released its performance based pay for the 2025 season

There ya go for those who don't know just how good Moss was last year.

Moss is another horse. And he improved his PI performance throughout the year ….and all while under incredible zebra scrutiny.

Reminds you a bit of Bolles. He was great minus the flags and then he figured out how to play great and reduce the flags. Not sure anyone in the NFL had more bogus flags then Moss either. He had his fair share of legit ones but he had one of the toughest jobs in the NFL and did a heck of a job and fixed the mistakes as the season went on.

I just wish the NFL could figure out a better way to make the DPI call a little more consistent. He had a play against Buffalo they didn't call that was much worse than what he did against the Giants earlier in the year when they flew the flag at the end of the game. Once the officials get eyes on you though it is tough to break out of that view. Bolles had that too. Officials were looking for him to hold and of course at least once a game they found a way to call it on him for quite a few years.

Moss was a target for officials.

Talib said on his show Denver will have a new offensive playmaker alluding to a trade or something other than the draft

I hope it’s not AJ Brown or Diggs

I think Talib's prediction is as good as ours. He is assuming we will add someone.

I would be great with AJ Brown if the asking price comes down.

Aren't many WR's available that aren't better then what we already have. I have always been a big Jauan Jennings fan.

Jennings would really raise the floor for the receiver room. Ya, does he duplicate a lot of the skill sets the Broncos already have but he does it on a really consistent basis. He is a dog in the run game blocking and big time redzone guy. Just seems like a Payton type player.
AJ Brown would be awesome, but Sutton plus a 1st is just too much.

This was a great year to add a great player for draft picks beings we were picking low.

And the draft doesn't have a ton of first round talent grades. Lots of good, but not a lot of great. Very unlikely you would get a player than can impact the team like Waddle will at #30.

What is Waddle’s current contract situation?

You have to think Achane may be next for Miami (not to us)

Waddle under contract for next three years. Low cap hit this year and then most compensation is base salary after this year which means decent cap sized cap hits in 2027 and 2028, but low dead money should something go horribly wrong. I would expect a restructure/extension after the 2026 year if things go well to clear cap space and possibly add more years. Overall not a bad contract at all.
