You obviously do. Otherwise you wouldn’t be bringing up decades old games
No, you can't back up your big mouth. When you say you "own" a team because you beat them twice this season when you were 1-6 against them before this season is straight stupidity. Especially when one was a 2-0 elimination game. And then your team gets their *** handed to them the very next game lol. As I said, rookie

MLB owners put out a large number of changes to the Draft, international draft, ability to trade picks etc. Big one is raising the minimum age to 20 for US, Canadian and Puerto Rican kids. This would be huge for college baseball. The Independent Leagues would still be an option but the main road to pro baseball would go through colleges, like the NFL and NBA. The Union trashed but, historically, the MLBPA hasn't cared too much about the draft.

They’ll care about this one. It also reduces the rounds in the draft.

And as a fan of both college and MLB, I’d hate it. A talent like Bryce Harper that’s good enough for the majors as a teen needs to be in the majors

The MLBPA allowed draft slotting, even though the Union's one eternal mantra has been to never agree to anything that limits a players ability to earn.

True, a lot of teens have gone to the majors quickly. A lot more are working for Target now because they weren't ready at 18 to play pro.

That was a compromise IIRC. This would be far more drastic and the union wouldn’t go for it.

They could make a rule of no drafting HS players beyond a certain round.

The first round HS picks are getting a nice nest egg of a signing bonus even if they don’t pan out in the majors

With NIL now, some players could probably make more in college than they could in the minors, but making top prospects wait for a signing bonus won’t fly
