I had the inevitable seahawks nightmare.
darnold looked awful and everyone was demanding geno back
Don't worry NO ONE in their right mind would demand Geno back even if Sam turns out to be the worst QB in Seahawks history. It would just mean they will finally have to do something "MEANINGFUL" about the position.

Maybe but lets not pretend this kid is ready to play. He needs a lot of work and thankfully he should get the time to put that work in. To me he looks like a 2 or 3 year project.

Oh believe me when I say 'lucky' as in winning the jackpot slot machine in Vegas.

I am putting very little faith into him ever materializing. I said I'd grade it an F (unless it was a 7th round pick) and I graded it an F. I GET the upside, but the chance it materializes is EXTREMELY small. I'll extend a slight olive branch that it's the QB, so if you're going to take a flyer on someone, might as well. And it's a 3rd round pick. Not the end of the world. I think most of us would've rather had other players.

But hey, whatever. MAYBE. I do like his attitude and work ethic. At least while he rides the pine he wont be a locker room distraction like Sanders will be. That's one immediate positive. I want guys on the team that want to be better and work hard.

I wish Dart would have fell into our laps in the 2nd or 3rd. I still say he becomes the best QB from the 2025 NFL Draft.

four-year deal worth $11.6 million, I feel like he will be worth every penny! Fingers crossed he stays healthy and plays up to his talent level.

Might be an injury bust, but he should've gone in the first round. It was a steal of a pick at a later 2nd. Take the risk, $9M over 4 years is whatever. .

Seattle basically got 3 1st round picks in this draft. Arroyo, Emmanwori, and Zabel all should've been (Zabel was) 1st round picks... the injury or character concerns weren't even that deep. This draft will likely define Seattle in coming years. The whole class/draft was absolutely a steal. Of course PFF and ESPN has to blow their wad on Baltimore 24/7..

Seattle 7 wins.. lmao. What a joke.

Fant was such an underachiever, it was like he was only out there for a paycheck. I wanted Barner to get more playing time and this 100% means he will. Barner and Arroyo should be our top 2 ( Duh ) and i am 100% psyched about that.

Fant was 100% all hype and almost 0 production. Barner out classed Fant last year with his "DESIRE" on the field.

It was time to move on. I like Barner-Arroyo to be a better pairing .

Makes sense. Fant and Arroyo are basically identical - they are TE receiver threats. Tons of athleticism and mismatch ability. Sadly, Fant just really never figured it out. Makes sense to give Arroyo the opportunity, especially since he'll be hungry for a future big contract.

What I do like about this, is the only reason Arroyo went in the 2nd round was some injury concerns. If we're now releasing Fant, that 100% means Arroyo is doing great in camp and there is zero concern with his knee. That's music to my ears.

Nothing like drafting 3 1st rounders in a draft.

I would've been surprised if they hadn't released him... Glad to see they're happy to move on with the young guys they've invested in at that position the past few years...

I don't think I ever saw Fant break a tackle...

I can't recall a Great play Fant made. Glad they're going young at TE.

That run after the catch after Lock threw him the ball when Geno was out, was about it.

Still, one play in 3 years is not worth that kind of money, and the fact nobody even would offer a 7th shows that the NFL agrees. I imagine someone will sign him for a 2 year $7M deal, but yah. Barner was good last year and Arroyo will hopefully be what Denver/Seattle were looking for from Fant (mismatch nightmare).

He made a TD catch landing on his head if you want to call that a great play in the last game of the season LMAO. Yeah he was a dud. All this talent but didn't put it together on the field.

I don't even remember that. He should have been a mismatch issue but seem liked he was just running the motions out there.
