I got a notification that Luc Robitaille is back on Cameo. Dude, shouldn't you be working on the team?

Robitaille taking the Thanksgiving break to sneak in a few $75 Cameos.

Cameos apparently more important than fielding a Cup caliber team.

Thats why I want a new ownership. I want Mark Walter to buy the team. Look what they did with the Doyers and now he bought the Lakers. I am assuming great things are going to come from the Lakers very soon. Imagine what could be done with the same effort put into the Kings.

Good luck convincing Uncle Phil, DTLA and the Kings are a cash cow.

Would be nice though. He's done amazing with the Dodgers.

Are you able to see the financials for the Kings? If so, what do the numbers look like?

I dont think they're readily available since they aren't a public company but I've gotten a glance at times through Forbes.

Lot of number shuffling which is typical to show gains in certain subsidiaries and losses in others, I bet the Kings show a loss but no doubt they're raking in cash from DTLA and ticket sales.

I believe they were the fourth highest valued of all NHL teams this fall.

I’ve been saying this for the last two seasons.

Dux got an A+

Los Angeles Kings: B

The Kings are proving those who predicted imminent doom after an uninspiring offseason wrong. They’re still getting it done with defense and goaltending. Darcy Kuemper is having a solid follow-up to his Vezina Trophy finalist season. Corey Perry and Joel Armia have been fine additions who have played up and down the lineup. They’ve managed to be in a playoff position because of their great road record, but they’ve got to squeeze out more offense. A few players who have provided consistent depth scoring in the past have struggled to find the net.

Never mind I looked it up.
It’s a bunch of Has Beens, Never Beens and Never be(en)s. Plus some famous people that actually have clout, but are grifting for cash.
I now know all I need to know.
So Luc falls in what category?

For the most part you're correct. I've actually gotten a few and some were great. I got one from Bob Miller for my Dad on Father's Day. I was at the Gretzky 802 game as a kid, so I asked him about it, and Bob Miller talked for about 5+ minutes about that day and the impact it had. Even showed an 802 painting he had in his house. I should probably just post that here.

I also got a $40 Cal Petersen one for my little cousin when Cal was still a pretty decent prospect. Was cool at the time. Has aged...so poorly.

But it's definitely sad for ex college athletes and grifters for sure. Anyone famous charges $500 each.

But the overall point was our leadership probably shouldn't be on there right now.

A good old fashioned swap of minor leaguers.

Thomas seemed like he was on the outs two years ago and then last season it seemed like he was on management's shit list, hope he gets a shot with the Blues.

But you can add him to the plethora of failed 2nd round draft picks, the Kings just blow those more than any other round it seems. Another Yanetti special too, 51st/2018.

Bob Miller Cameo from a few years ago. Weird posting because it's personalized, but that's sort of the whole point for the fact that it was a quick Father's Day gift.

I also can't say anything bad about Cal Petersen as a guy. I paid for a Cameo for my cousin since it was only like $25-40. They have to do it within a week or you get your money back. He missed the window, but he emailed me saying he'd do it anyway for free, which he did. Pretty solid move.
