Good for us...if the Kings can make the POs. All these loser points don't help, league leading 13 games to go to OT. Jill is playing not to lose, not to win. Think about that, 13/30 - damn near 50%.

This is why guys like Buster need to step up, but never fear, tomorrow will be a month between goals, he will get one, and all is good again because Mr 1C did something. Probably be some tap in too that Laferriere or Fiala made happen to begin with.

Read this fantasy thing this morning (we need Loco to revive this) and it said drop him, not a producer. They did get his FO blurb wrong, said that's all he's good for points wise. Yeah, you got that wrong too.

Everything about this pick was wrong and it's evident almost 6 years later.

Yea, i was tongue-in-cheek with Pickard haha

Byfield, well thats what happens when you rush a kid

Seeing very mixed reviews on this trade, but most people think both teams did well. Central is LOADED up. 1st two rounds could be a blood bath.

They always say whoever got the best player won but I'm with you. Not sure on this one. The Canucks did however load up so there's that too, got some very good players.

The Wild, wow. Hughes and Kaprizov, heavy duty offense. They're all in.

Dunno rumors heating up again, this one sending him back to Montreal and Josh Anderson headed back to LA. Holly did say Dunno will not be moved unless something makes total sense.

Cap hits and contract are the same, $5.5M through 2026-27 but sending out a center and bringing back a winger doesn't make sense unless Laferriere becomes a full time center. Anderson has also struggled this season, 5G/3A in 30 games but he's a big power forward but also up in age like Dunno.

Laferriere is actually a lot better at center than Buster is, something to keep an eye on.

NHL marketing at its best, color me shocked. Dark jerseys are definitely my preference but some creative thirds world be nice too.

Absolutely hate the ones the Kings wore last night and this season, my favorite was the purple and black with gray neckline and laces from the early 2000s. Bring that one back.

That Montreal Santa elves pin stripe pajama thing is absolutely the worst jersey I've seen in a long time, homage to an O6 team or not.

Is the best course of action a coaching change? You already lost Spence, Dunno, Thomas and Kuz (which was a given). Plus the struggle with scoring, the constent shortening of the bench, a tired Kopi....list goes on. Sure the Kings can make a deal, but what deal fixes it all? This team has been in fail mode since the PO debacle and Jill is steadfast that this is the course....why are so many people such ego maniacs that they cant change no matter what? Jill was good and doing ok until he decided to f.uck it all up snd ruined and chemistry and flow these guys had. So, whats the best move to any of you? Mine is still Jill (excluding the obvious getting rid of roblakitaile)....

Replace Hiller and demote Luc to a harmless position where his choices won't affect the team on the ice. That's step one. Then hire a GM who is in tune with todays NHL and the type of player that is needed to succeed now. Not a dinosaur still rubbing sticks together to make fire.

If the new GM isn't someone that can be given full responsibility as both GM and head of hockey ops then you also need to bring in someone to be the president of hockey ops in order to clean up the trash that is the development staff.

Out: Luc Robitaille, Nelson Emerson, Glen Murray to start.

To me this is about a 2 year process to get the right folks in.

You're onto something with GM/Hockey Ops thing.

My only fear is they'll hire someone like Modry to be both and not break away from the country club culture.

100% on brand. I try to explain to my buddy who is relatively fringe with hockey. "The home teams used to wear white, but then they changed it to sell more jerseys". And now it's been brought up before, but we are basically watching the black vs white every single night as Kings fans. The visiting team will always wear white, and we've seen this for a decade +. In that sense, I am open to the dark vs dark.

I miss home team in white and I miss more than anything the 1-8 playoff format. You saw Florida/Tampa/Toronto battles in Rounds 1-2 that have been brutal. Basically lead to Toronto being dismantled, despite taking Florida to 7 games. Last year Colorado/Dallas Round 1. Kings/Edmonton FOUR cursed years in a row.

Buckle up. This year the top 3 teams in the West all appear to be from the Central.

It was really just the atrocious way he shortened the bench over and over and over again and blew that series. But it was his comments after that he didn't do anything wrong that were the craziest. I actually liked him a ton before the playoffs. The special teams thing is and his clear inability to generate the most basic of attacks are a huge problem. Maybe even bringing in a PP specialist at this point?

This is it. The management is weak and out of touch with the modern NHL. The team is full of soft characters and is constructed poorly.

And who would that be? Oh yes, Glen Murray because heaven forbid they look for a qualified, outside the organization person.

This whole fish stinks from the head down and we know where that starts.

This team needs a full blown house clearing from Beckerman down to Jill down to even the trash company exactly like Dumbo did.

Now reading Buster has the flu and Kingsters saying that's why he's played awful. For 31 games? Yeah no, he sucks and is the epitome of how this regime pretty much sucks at everything.

Clean house including disappointing players.

Saw that.

Heard he scored a bunch of goals in practice, probably why he got sick.

=)~~

Definitely won't miss him out of the lineup tonight but curious how the centers slot in. My guess is 11 15/14 14/15 79 amd Kuzmenko back in. Will know more later when I post a GDT. Also wouldn't be surprised to see Jill run the 11/7.

Also in other news, Adams fired as Sabers GM after almost 6 years and Kekalainen in. He was hired as an advisor this summer after 10 years with the BJs.
