If the Sabers win their series (in OT against Boston tied 1-1) and if Anaheim wins theirs against Edmonton both those teams will have more series wins than LA since the Cup run in 2014.

Anaheim already has one series win from 2018 and we all know Buffalo hasn't even been to the playoffs in 14 years.

LA is pathetic.

Ducks getting smoked barely 10 minutes in, Dostal pulled. Oiler PP too now.

If they go down 4-0 it's probably lights out but the Ducks led the league in come from behind victories all season so they might make it interesting.

So basically he sucked before the injuries. Got it.

Congratulations for playing better the last end of the season as is his norm, injuries didn't submarine his season - he did.

Trade him, there isn't much growth left and this is probably his ceiling. Not good enough, he can flipped for help.

Flyers eliminate the Penguins 2-1 in OT, Crosby goes home. Flyers will meet the Canes in the ECSF.

Curious if he will end up retiring after next season, also a 2005 draft pick and it seems those guys are shutting it down like Quick and Kopitar.

Still has one year left at $8.7M and is 39.

Dorofyev hat trick for Vegas. Been a crazy series but some truly subpar goaltending. Vejmelka carried them in Game 3 but he's been pretty suspect every other game. No idea where he was going on that 4th goal with the empty net. Vegas pulls goalie and ties it with 52 seconds left.

Pittsburgh on the upswing with some youth infusion, so I feel like he might ride that out a few more years.

The refs ruled it a goal on the ice after thinking about it.
They of course went to Toronto. Toronto did not say that they couldn’t overturn the refs. They said they ruled it crossed the line. Inferring that if the refs had ruled no goal they would have overturned it.
Hope the Ducks win this series. My wife has posted on Facebook some unfortunate pictures of me in a Ducks jersey.

Dude, I went to Game 3. It was so fun. Reminds me of Kings 2010 after a decade of no hockey. Obviously I'm Kings all day but I is just knew that environment would be so fun. Got tickets on Day 1 way up top for $90 each. Grabbed 4. Day of the game, they were going for $225. Wife/kids/buddy wanted to go but I was very close to selling at least 2. But it was pretty crazy. Also helps that I absolutely hate Edmonton, so fun game. Accidentally created a Ducks fan out of my daughter for sure though. The Orange was already way more appealing to her, but the Duck drones she loved. I have a 5 month old and I wore him in a harness a ton of the game from the last row.

Edmonton doesn't look the same, but Ducks also don't really play defense either, so the matchup feels awkward for the Oilers. This is a Pacific Division Special overall. Feels like whoever wins, and I'd say winner of Game 6 is taking it, will lose to winner of Utah/Vegas. But even then, all 4 of those teams aren't representing the West past Colorado/Minnesota/Dallas. Minnesota seems like the hotter team of all of them too.

Oh no Duck fan in your house. I feel your pain, only I can’t send mine to her room for not doing her homework. The DLW loves the drones as well. I like that they don’t charge extra for parking.

The whole Pacific sucks this year. Ducks I think have the most upside. They are young and no players are untouchable for training. Ducks fans didn’t think they would make the playoffs this year so if they get to the second round they will be happy. (Heck I would be if the Kings ever do that)

No great insight by me, but I think Avs will win it all.

Dallas out 4-2, Wild will play Colorado in the WCSFs. That is going to be one hell of a series to watch, this Minnesota team is for real - I figured they'd pull a Wild and not get out of the first round again but did, first time since 2015. The Hughes trade really put them over the top.

I really thought Dallas would win this one but 5v5 they were atrocious, all their scoring came off the PP it seems. Not going to win too many games like that in the POs when the calls tighten up and more stuff is let go.

So the Wild now have more series wins than LA since 2014...wonderful.

I keep reading (mostly on Teh Blog) this was the year to take on Edmonton, they've been off all season, Draisaitl hurt, losing depth players like Perry, Dexter, etc the last two years, goaltending etc.

I don't buy it, I still don't think LA would have beat Edmo - they were simply not good enough no matter who they would have played.

Maybe if Casper wasnt hurt, LA woulda had a chance.

Really you gotta have some young guns that don't care who or what a Mc-Dri is

Glad Anaheim took care of the Diving Divas, McJesus is absolutely on his way out of Edmonton me thinks. Now one of Vegas or Utah needs to wipe Anaheim out.

With the Wild win, the Kings now hold the active streak of not being able.able.to get out of the first round at 7.

Congratulations Kings, at least you won something this season.
