The NFL Network 2023 Schedule Release was the 2023 three hours of the New York Jets and Aaron Rogers. They all predicted that the Jets will finish at 13-4.

Every team that they showed had a win against the Patriots, who were ignored except for the appearance of TB12 at game one.

From the way they showed their predictions, the Patriots will finish at 0-17.

Of course, Roger Goodell got his start in the NFL with the NYJ and they are his team. If you watched the program, the first 39 minutes was devoted to the jets and the last ten mintes ws devoted to the Jets. Three hours and thirty minutes and at least 20 teams were totally ignored, including the Cincinnati Bengals.

Might have been one of the worst productions ever by NFL Network.

One good thing is that the Patriots are not one of the five teams that have three road games in a row.

Of course the Jets will play the first ever Black Friday game against the Dolphins. Aaron Rogers in New York has put the Jets on 6 prime time games.

Patriots will be in Germany Week 10.

Chiefs and Eagles will meet again, after both teams have a Bye.

There will be a lot of great match up during the entire season.

Notice that the final game against the Jets is TBD???? If the Jets are in a playoff race, that will be the featured game of the week. If by some miracle the Patriots are sitting at the top of the AFCE at 13=3 and the Jets are -8-8, this game will be a Sunday 1:00 game. New York is a huge money city and the league would like nothing more than the Jets being at or near the top of the AFCE.

NE plays 6 games against AFCE
NE plays 4 games against AFCW
NE plays 4 games against NFCE
These are the same as Buffalo.
NE plays 3 odd games against 3rd place teams - NO, Indy, and Pittsburgh.
Buffalo plays all the same teams except the 3 odd games against 1st place teams = Jax, Cicncy, and T.B.

I wont do this for all 4 teams but you will find that the 3 odd games for Miami are against 2nd place teams and the 3 for Jets are last place teams.

The 3 odd games are determined by rotation and all come from same divisions - by order of last years finish.

Two games vs. teams in the conference that finished in the same place in the standings​

The league also schedules teams against conference teams that had the same finish their respective divisions. To ensure parity (and better games), the NFL matches first-place teams against first-place teams from the season before, second-place teams against second-places teams, and so on. The reigning NFC West champion Rams will play the Packers (first place in the NFC North) and Cowboys (first in the NFC East) in 2022.

One game vs. a team in the opposite conference that finished in the same place in the standings​

Similarly, teams play one game against a team in the opposite conference with a corresponding finish. This is also set on a rotational basis, and the home team alternates every year. This year, the NFC teams will host all these games (the AFC hosted them last year), so the Rams will host the Bills in 2022 as the NFC West teams host their corresponding finisher from last year in the AFC East.

They aren't expected to do squat. Getting in the playoffs would mean that they had to get some very unexpected wins against teams that everyone thought they had no chance against. My take on that is they now have something that their conference foes were completely unaware of or are not 100% prepared for, either offensively or defensively. It's pretty obvious on defense if they end up having the best run defense or the best pass offense. Not so obvious if they have the lowest points scored against. Especially if they keep teams like the Bills, Eagles and Dolphins all under 20 points a game,

If you have to face them, you're not going to concentrate on their offense, you're going to attempt to put all of your planning into putting points on the board.

If you win the first round of the playoffs, you are dangerous and very scary.
