2022 season

Not sure why UW was ranked this year but I figured it wasn’t warranted. The offense has been stagnant for several years now. I like the coach but there needs to be some adjustments to get the offense from looking so predictable. 2 weeks in a row the offense couldn’t score in the first quarter. Something’s gotta give.

Todays game will show how bad Wisconsin is and that Ohio St. is nothing more than a football factory like the SEC. I wonder if their players even have to go to class?

I’ve heard several times that UW has a good defense. I guess they mean when they play high school teams.
The offense and defense have been bad for several years now. Even when they were decent, the one thing that separated them from contending for a NC was a QB that could at the very least manage the game.

Where does UW go from here? Lost again. Maybe it will take a losing season to make some changes and turn this program around.

Leonard’s debut gets the W. It was against a shitty NW team but it’s a W nonetheless. Not sure if the play calling was due to his debut but if he continues to follow the same philosophy he will end up being less successful.

My guess is lack of quality talent has turned this organization on the downward trend for a couple of years now. Maybe a losing season will be the catalyst to turn it back around.

Quality win against Purdue. There was a play during the game which I thought defined the Badgers season so far. 3rd and long for the Badgers offense, Purdue with a 3 man rush get the sack.

3rd and 12 for the gophers and they run it for a first down. This is why UW is a shit show just like the other Wisconsin football team.

Maybe someday they will recruit a QB that is actually worth something and bring some respectability back to Madison. I’m not going to hold my breath.

The biggest question I have is…how did the defense become so bad?

So Mertz is entering the portal...Well,.....bye! He was projected as a 5 star qb coming out of High School but for some obvious reasons and some not so obvious he didnt perform up to his potential.

For this program to get to the next level its going to take a highly praised qb that will live up to his potential. Not sure if Leonard is coming back but the defense needs to get back to where they were as well. Until next year.
