If the Pack can beat the Vikes in week #1 and the Bears lose to the 49ers week #1

The Pack can be the best by beating the Bears in week #2

That really is something considering once where the Packers organization was.

Grew up with Packers in 70s and 80s after Lombardi era and the "small town" Packers. Chicago´s teams of the 80s made it feel like the rivalry would always be lopsided... before Favre arrived, Chicago owned 24 game lead in series and now Packers own 8 game lead is head to head series.

Some early training camp comments:

- Romeo Doubs making some noise at WR
- OL being shuffled around, so appears to be set up for competition. Only Runyon and Myers appear to be locks at their positions
- Not sure when Bakhtiari is coming back
- Rashan Gary is really impressing
- Defense overall looking very good... Rodgers comment "formidable"

Should've cut Bak while he had the chance instead he signed him to a mega deal mid season which left us with a 30+ year old with a torn ACL and no games played for nearly 2 years now but the line did pretty well without him. That costs about 20 mil a year for him to sit on his fat azz. Think of how much talent the Packers could've acquired with that money.

Doubs looking like a FHOF as he's showing us he already nearly has an Adams release as a rookie. He's always open.
Royce Newman should be cut from the team, dude is terrible. Ninjaman (SP?) RT, Bak LT, Runyon LG, Myers C, Jenkins LG. The best players will be on the field with this lineup.
Gary looks ready to break 17 sacks this season
Even if Bak comes back he won't be the same and is a waste of money at this point.
Defense might be top 5 this season.

This is extremely disappointing considering how the SPT's has let them down in the playoffs in recent years and the new coordinator was supposed to be able to fix this. I'll give him a slight pass since most the players on SPT's in the preseason most likely won't make the 53 but I'm worried because they looked horrific.

Agree... special teams is not looking good during preseason.

Hopefully we see an improvement in the special teams this season but if pre season is any indication of what’s to come than expect much of the same. With the exception of a handful of players, GB should cut all the 2’s, 3’s and fat chancees. None of them should be on a NFL roster.

He basically said the film from Thursday showed guys playing their way off the roster due to lack of effort and not using the techniques being coached. I'm with you, it's difficult to fathom with the type of opportunity that exists here.

Tuesday Packers have to get to 53... some of the moves could be very interesting. Looking at Rob Demovsky´s final 53 prediction cannot argue too much.

• Has only 2 QBs and 2 RBs on roster... others will try and get to practice squad hoping clear waivers.
• Has Winfree and A. Rodgers as last 2 WRs making it and Toure not making it and hoping for spot on practice squad.
• He has Caleb Jones and McDuffie making it... I am hoping both make it.
• Does not have Slayton make it... he really played great in the preseason games. If he does not make it, really hope he can get on practice squad.
• Has Packers cutting Coco the long snapper (no long snapper)... so can get to 53 and then put someone on IR and hope to get him back on roster.

Highlighted the 3 cuts thought would make the team... most surprising for me was Caleb Jones. Assume Packers think better chance getting Winfree on PS vs Toure.
