Lockett is due $17.95M. He's a good player but he's past his peak. Most Seahawks fans want him back, but at a lower price.

Adams' release is inevitable if he isn't willing to take a massive pay cut. He might not like the timing of his release.
Where you get that figure?

It's the figure used by Spotrac. It's the total for salary, roster bonus, and workout bonus. For convenience Spotrac combines the figure on the right hand side of the page under Yearly cash. Originally he was due a salary of $15.3M and a roster bonus of $1.6M, ($16.9M total), in both 2024 and 2025. He has a performance escalator of $1.05M which was achieved in 2023 and activates in 2024. None of the money is guaranteed.

I still look at Lockett as their best WR, but if cap cuts are necessary & the new WR is capable of taking his role for much cheaper. I get it. But if I were a hawks fan. I wouldnt want to lose him either.

That's a big development? Let's hurry up and get free agency under way, lol. Punter signings and bodyguards impacting a Super Bowl team, the media is getting antsy.

If it was a regular signing, it would not be big news.

.....but we are talking about the 2 time defending champs signing PUNT GOD. Not Punt Messiah. Not Punt Prophet. We are talking about PUNT GOD! Might be the best signing of the offseason.
