Victoria Royals getting some love as they are ranked #3 in the CHL. Tigers hold down the #6 spot. Victoria visits the Hat on Saturday, October 10th for their only meeting this season, who knows, it could be a preview of the WHL Championship series.

Imagine if they still had Verhoeff and Reschny

Chase Harrington with a Gordie Howe hat trick as Spokane wins their home opener 3-2 over Tri-City.

4-1 against those Rats from Vancouver

I've always disliked the Rebels lol

Nice bounce back against the Oil Kings as the Tigers win 5-2. 3-1 to start the season, that'll do. Really missing Pickford and Woo on the backend though, WillieD might have to make some moves.

Amazing. First time for WHL to not ride the bus.

[puckhead]

Or not...

Spokane wins in Portland 6-1 for a 3-0 start to the season. Always a good night when they beat the Winterhawks. Portland on deck again tomorrow evening in the Rose City.

It's early but the Chiefs and Royals appear to be the top dogs out West. Next Saturday Victoria is in Medicine Hat to face the Tigers, I'll be checking out that game via YouTube.

I don't want to get too excited just yet, but they have looked pretty decent so far. Albeit against just 2 teams to this point. Still not really sure who is actually good or not yet lol. Though I am inclined to agree about Victoria.

Tigers improve their record to 4-1 following a 4-2 win over the PA Raiders. Also, I think this is a typo regarding the attendance at the game.

I feel bad for them.

Our next victims

Spokane takes the rematch 3-1 in Portland tonight. That's 13 straight wins for the Chiefs over Portland.

Chase Harrington is having a fine start to the season for Spokane.

Liam Pue of Langley, BC who plays for the Regina Pats just recorded a hat trick versus the Calgary Hitmen. He doesn't turn 17 until next February.

The Chiefs win 3-1 in Everett for their first 5-0 start in franchise history. Going 3-0 in a 3 day stretch is always great, but cherry on top when they're all against Portland and Everett.
