Never noticed him ever and from what I can tell (just from the numbers) he doesn't look like a physical receiver, but I could be totally wrong.

Anyway at face value looks like a Tomlin dream but at most will be roster filler.
IIRC think more diontae less juju or chase….article may tell More will dive into later. I was a fan of his coming out of college

Skimmed this. Has some info.

Kid oozes talent. But something with him. He had hype within the bears organization. Then he developed some and was featured for the bears towards the end of one season, and producing. Then he was buried on the depth chart, basically benched, traded to the texans, and couldnt stick there… bears fans likely know more. @Beengay fudgepackers fill us in
He’s a diva with a short fuse. He sucks at blocking, he will run routes in an attempt to get himself open rather than run the route the play calls for that helps opens up other receivers. He’s very injury prone. He could have a good year or two, but the roster he’s on would have to have little else in the receiving department. Unless you have a coach that can talk sense into Miller, he will probably just be another back up receiver that will be gone by next year.

On the other hand, we had high hopes for him early on, but he never materialized into anything. During his tenure with the bears, he had QBs like Trubisky, Foles, and Case Daniel throwing to him in an offense run by Matt Nagy’s dumbass. He then went to the Texans who’s offense is a train wreck as well.

There’s an argument that he could succeed in Pittsburgh, but you already have 3 good young receivers. Unless he can become a team player, I don’t see him lasting long on the Steelers.

Thanks on the details!

The bold is the one big factor I guess giving him another chance, but the prior comments is he worth it vs others out there? Not sure but if a PS filler then worth a shot.

EDIT: WIth that said it sounds like it is official he is joining the Steelers PS:

Steelers always have a “way” with WRs sotospeak, so I trust they know exactly what they are doing. If anyone can breathe life into a WR then this is the place.

Agree and hopefully Cody White uses his hands and not his knees for catching a pass the next time he gets thrown a pass…..that was a horrible effort on that pass…..shades of Sweed….

Ironically, same week they play the Seahawks, trouble appears to be brewing with recently acquired CB Akhello Witherspoon…

Last week when Sutton was out, Witherspoon was suspiciously inactive against Denver. Instead they gave a PS guy the nod. Seems like he got demoted against LV. He was inactive the GB week as well

And now he surfaced on today’s practice report as a DNP for a coach’s decision. That should raise some eyebrows.

Granted it was a gamble and GIlmour got traded for less later, so it magnifies this. But this so far has been bad....

Conveniently leaving out the fact that its a 2023 5th Rd pick.

Not that PFF is a good measure of a player’s impact, but it is concerning that Minoan is not having the same impact this year. He was huge against Buffalo the way they moved him around a lot to disrupt Josh Allen’s presnap reads. But since then he has been caught out of position a lot.
