Cardinals paid him ooodles of cash. My word. I didn't think he was worth that much at this point in his career. Honestly think the Cards are going to regret that contract, but maybe not.

He's not. I wouldn't have wanted to pay him more than a third of what he got.

He clearly still thinks he can be a full-time starter.

Yea props to him for gettin that money. What's even more insane that 2 other teams reportedly offered him more than what he took.

Know what QB prospect intrigues me more and more as we get closer to the draft? Jamie Newman (GA). Showed tons of promise and then opted out. it's possible he's in the first round conversation if he hadn't opted out (and progressed). Not sure how high of a pick would be needed but I would start thinking about it in the 3rd round.

Steelers twitter is a hoot. The consistent argument for years on end to take a rb round 1. Also consistently arguing a rb can mask the o line and fix protection of ben. What maybe a few backs are capable of that?

Any of these TE options are bandaids, and all of the previous attempts to replace Heath have been bandaids.

They have to nut up at some point and draft a guy to be the starting TE.

Yeah i kinda agree, for wha WE need in a tight end....

i do think rudolph could be that guy. Hes been hurt and muddled with the rookie, but he def can block. Just wht would he accept salary wise. He sighed that big ext.... but i think he couod be had cheap...hes 31 though, but thats not turrible. Have you looked at the draft? Theres a few id love to get that would require a round 1 pick.

Gerald everett is intriguin but hes gonna get 5-8 million a year so no thanks.

theres a chance all 3 indy tight ends in doyle, burton, Allie-cox hit Fa, all had hype, all tanked. Hope we dont go there

Rudolph and Delanie are old men I'd worry about the cliff fall off for Rudolph, and Delanie is red flag city.

Ebron is half a real player. We keep pulling from the Island of Misfit Toys.

Everett and Hunter Henry are actual players who might pan out, but both are going to command too much and we just can't play at that level for a TE right now.

So the only real avenue to fix this is to draft a guy. IMO.

Yeah i agree. Except i dont see 31 as too old for a tight end to be honest. His iniuires scare me but no reason he doesnt have 3+ years left. Delanie is 37 thats a but different

Yep. Water is wet, sky is blue, and Steelers Twitter wants to draft a RB in round 1.

Can’t wait to see them all lose their shit when Harris is drafted before 24th.

Oh w/o a doubt. I don't see them drafting one high this season unless they truly think the O-line they put out there will protect Ben.
With that if Ben is hurt it won't matter who the "catching TE" is, they will have to become a full-time run blocker.
