I miss the dayes when even though it was for fun, the players played like it meant something and played the whole game. Selig screwed that up in 2002 when he called the game because both teams ran out of players in the 11th inning of a tie game. He should have told them to play on and better manage the players in the future.

It was an All Star Game... Easily could have changed the rules and allowed players to return. Simple fix. Refused to do it

Both teams used up their bullpens so there were no more pitchers. Should have saved a couple for just this case.

Both managers emptied the benches before the ninth to get everyone in in case it ended in the ninth. Fans got cheated especially those who were there. And it was in Milwaukee which was Selig’s team before he became commissioner. He totally sucked in my opinion.

New guy is 10x worse....I expect the league to transition to underhand pitching in 5 years tops
