I'm surprised by both Redmond and Smith.

But, we really haven't heard much of Smith even though a couple jobs were up for grabs. If I remember he doesn't play much of a STs role so that could have sealed his fate

I'm not too surprised with the amount of quality WRs in camp.
Cedrick Wilson, Ventell Bryant, Jon’Vea Johnson and Noah Brown have all had very good camps. Dallas will be forced to release good WRs.

I don't know. That's the same thing we say every year. Just like DL. But neither seems totally accurate in the rear view mirror.

How many WR's will they keep? My guess is 6.
Cooper, Gallup, and Diggs are guaranteed. I'm sure Wilson and Brown are shoe-ins, that leaves 1 open spot. I think it will be Johnson, but I'm not betting $1.00 on it.

I think you have a little "Shingles brain" :D

I think (guess) maybe only 5 this year the way we have so many banged up guys with the season 10 days away and can always get a couple WRs on PS or resign later

Cooper, Gallup, Lamb, Wilson and ???
Guessing Bryant is #5 but could be Johnson or Brown

Not seeing any chat on Dinuchi. I think you keep him on the 53. I see serious potential in him as our backup QB of the future.

Earl is going to take a serious pay cut if he plans on coming here. Consequently, I don’t see him coming here.

Agree don’t think Earl is signing in Dallas but we still have the “Jerry” factor so I will put it at 90% Earl is not signed .

we have to remember that Jerry always has keys to the clown car Thus the 10% factor :D:suds:

We don't need that head case.
Oh shit my bad, I didn’t know choir boys were only allowed on football teams. Is he better than the safeties we have on the roster? If the answer is yes then you gotta sign him. If he fucks up his chance here a team he’s been wanting to play on for years then there’s a good chance he won’t be in the league anymore.

I'm with you as far as adding the talent of Earl but the question asked is what kinda teammate he is and how that fits in this locker room. If and I mean if Earl is humbled a little and can see that he has to blend with the group...Be on time and adjust his apparent attitude issue then yes. BUT....make no mistake, Baltimore is one of the best ran teams in this league and the players on that team basically voted him off. That shit won't fly and it's up to Earl to understand that and change. If he can't or won't do that, then fuck his talent, we're better off playing without the head case.

That is a totally legitimate concern, his career is hanging on by a thread now that there’s no team in a rush to sign him. Coming to Dallas will give him added incentive to be on his best behavior for one being that he actually wants to play here, you don’t go up to head coach and say come get me for no reason. And two, he should know that if it ends ugly here like it did in Baltimore he’ll be hard-pressed to find another team that would ever sign him again.

I'd rather have a few choir boys than head cases that are lockerroom distractions.
