Congrats to Web Simpson and his 7th PGAT win!
A jammed packed leader board, a 3 hour weather delay and with soft fairways (and not much rough anyway), Harbour Town was turned into a pitch and putt on Sunday as guys like Ryan Palmer and Matthew Fitz shot -2 and -3 and basically got lapped...-4 seemed more like par to the top 20 or guys.
In the second to the last group off...Simpson got hot after the long weather break and birdied 5 of the last 7 holes and 3 in a row to take command....Ancer was the only guy with a shot to tie him with a birdie coming in and while he had a decent birdie putt...never got it to the hole.
Simpson...a guy some thought the anchoring ban was going to the force out of the game prematurely...now has 7 Ws.
