Nah. King is grasping at straws. They've lined up Agnew at receiver from time to time ever since he's been here. Hence, he's sitting in on receiver meetings. One nice thing about conducting position meetings remotely - not every group has to meet at the same time.

Birkett is confirming.

Q. Hi Dave, thanks for your professionalism. It can't be easy coving the Lions. Is the idea of using Jamal Agnew at wideout a serious move or just talk? Kinda would like to see it. Thanks! - @Donh1270

More than serious, it’s happening. The Lions used Agnew at receiver late last season and their intentions are to make him full-time at the position this fall. He played sparingly on defense the past three seasons and was far enough down the depth chart there that it makes sense to try a new position. He’s explosive with the ball and his versatility gives him an edge for a roster spot in what could be a wild year.

seems as though I'm not a paid subscriber, like LWM, maybe he could fill us in on the paid version of all that was stated in this article.
Nor am I a paid subscriber. Reading between the lines it says... The Patriots NFL favoritism has moved to Detroit. All road blocks holding the Lions back are removed. Looks like Bob Quinn and Matt Patricia will be keeping their jobs.

Taylor Decker has agreed to terms with the Lions (6yr 85M / 37.5M Fully Guaranteed)

Good signing imo the line being middle of the pack has been one of the bright spots of the last few seasons

I am happy with that contract, he has been the best tackle since Lomas Brown. I dont think he is ever elite, but he will be a quality starter for along time.

I saw someone mention he's the first first round Lion to get a contract extension since our 09 class

Meanwhile Riley Reiff is begging for a job. Who drafted that guy?
