We have never been frugal in FA. Let’s try that. Let’s copy the example that is NE. Let’s copy the example that is Pittsburgh.

What you are suggesting has never been done in the NFL because people know it is absurd. There is a reason their own teams didn’t pay for their services. It is because they are expendable.
Also its because those teams stock pile draft picks, something the Skins seem unable to do.

At this point Id give Donald Parnham another shot. 6'8 guy who was doing well in the xfl playing for the dallas renegades

My offseason plan

1- Take care of Scherff and Dunbar extensions. Well we franchised Scherff and got rid of Dunbar, but replaced him with Darby (push).
2- Jon Bostic offer of 8 million for two years, 4 million guaranteed. Not great but a worthy backup that can push a starter. Cheaper than expect, 1.5 less per year.

pre-draft
Breshad Perriman. I would offer him 12 million over two years, 6 is guaranteed. He is the only WR that interests me. Went Cody Latimer...no idea why.

Eric Ebron or Hunter Henry. I prefer Ebron for his upside and lower cost. I would offer both 4 year contract for 7 and 9 million respectively, guaranteeing half. Went Richard Rodgers. Not bad a couple of years ago but disappointed in this.

I would also consider Nick Vannet and Rickey Seals-Jones on two year deals worth 2 million total, half guaranteed.

Consider Cory Littleton, who has gotten better each year. I would offer him 10- 12 million per season and take a look at opening negotiations. Well we went Thomas Davis and Kevin Pierre Lewis...I don’t mind.

At corner, I would look at James Bradberry (15 mil/), Mackenzie Alexander (10mil/), Bradley Roby (8mil/), and Kendall Fuller (7 mil/) and see who I am most comfortable with. I really like the Sean Davis move.

In no way do I ever panic in decision making.

DRAFT- first try on one of those draft games.
1- Chase Young DE
3- Prince Tega Wanagho OT
4- Thaddeus Moss TE
4- Gabriel Davis WR
5- Yasir Durant T/G
7- Steven Sullivan TE

I think San Diego signed him.

Great draft - though it's a bit over-optimistic with several of the picks.
