Also, anyone wanting to draft this stellar goalie I keep hearing about? If we didn't have Blackwood, sure I guess but idk... should we?

Makes me nervous drafting a goalie that high....Could be a Broduer but even more likely Trevor Kidd.....

As I did my run in prospect info... Holtz had with the sniper quality as well as best shot in class...

I always felt thats something we missed in our team for quite awhile. It actually gave me Kakko luv last yr but ultimately I favored Jack.

This time I did have Holtz as my draft pick/crush but I was a bit swayed to Rossi...

Needless to say, very happy

Love the first 2 picks. Most analysts had Mercer around 12 so that may have been some luck having him drop to 18.

The Russian defenseman seems like a reach and I hated it at first but the more I read up on him he sounds like a player. All the ranking lists I've looked at are all over the map after 15/16 so there's no real consensus on who we should have taken (although I think they panic picked after Rangers snagged Braden Schneider).

Based on the below sounds like a potential mail in season. If that's the case for the love of God can we make some moves to help cap strapped teams? Vegas wannts to give teams picks to take half of Fleury's cap hit to facilitate a trade. Why are we not all over that?

Yea not gonna lie about Shakir... know nothing of him.... the few highlight videos they showed on the draft didn't really excite me either... seems like a stiff guy... does he skate fluidly? or even can skate? lol those videos did nothing for me

Excited for Mercer, he dropped, maybe we got a gem out of that one. Sucks that someone like McLeod never came through thus I'm reserving hope for Mercer.
