Utah Jazz vs. Denver Nuggets:

Utah still has good guard depth, even if Conley Jr. will miss a few games, to be with his newborn.

Jingles has to shoot and pass well, though.

I want to predict a shorter series with the Jazz, but the Jazz never seem to win in 5 games or less.

Utah in 6.

Dallas Mavericks vs. Los Angeles Clippers:

The Clippers have 1.7 good perimeter defenders. Doncic still plays well though.

Dallas has good depth with Curry and Hardaway.

Clippers should be able to pull away.

Los Angeles in 4.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors:

Brooklyn makes a lot of 3's.

VanVleet can have great games.

Siakam will be the best player in a few series.

This should have at least a few good games.

Toronto continues their game 1 suckage.

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Boston Celtics:

Boston's defense will be too good.

Orlando vs. Milwaukee:

Milwaukee shouldn't have any problems with this.

Miami vs. Indiana:

The Sabonis loss is big. I don't really trust Turner.

Hope Oladipo plays well.

Oklahoma City vs. Houston:

I don't know, I'm just taking Houston.

Too many things to consider.

Portland Trail Blazers vs. Los Angeles Lakers.

Portland's defense sucks.

They might have the best big man rotation, compared to most teams.

Whiteside has to not suck.

Nurkic will have a 9 assist+ game.

I know, I know, I know, I know that you can get an injury while you're mowing your lawn, get hit by a car, while practicing by yourself. But like I said about the George injury, if I were the team I would want to say no, despite the benefits of playing. I also know that if you don't keep yourself doing it, maybe you could be more likely to get injured later, but F it. Stay away from qualifiers, trust the rest of the team to make it there and then play in the Olympics when it comes. if you get injured while practicing at home or during the Olympics, too bad.

Or you can get injured being put back into a game you are down 17 and can barely walk with little time on the clock: By reinserting an injured Luka Doncic back in Game 3, Mavericks risked their entire future for no good reason

Jazz, Clippers, Raptors, Celtics, Bucks, Heat, Rockets, and Lakers.

I know I am predicting late, but these were obvious to me. The only ones that I saw could go the other way was Sixers, Jazz, and crazy Portland.

The Clippers came back from down 31 in the 4th quarter against Golden State on the road in the playoffs last year.

The Jazz lost a 25 point lead and had it tied in 8:31, then lost the lead in 9:21.

This Clippers-Mavericks game was only a 14 point game at the start of the 4th.

He wanted to play.

Doncic playing well today.

He's playing so well that Leonard may guard him, for the first time, this series.

So? I’m not a Dallas fan. :P They were going to lose because it was on a weekend. I don’t like players playing if they have a papercut, hangnail, or worse.

I’m only kidding; I didn’t see the game nor what time he left, I just figured that the author of the article did and presumed it was a noteworthy stupidity choice.

The coach that coached the Utah Utes before Urban Meyer played Alex Smith for one series on the last game of the year and that therefore took one year of college eligibility away (back then playing in a game did not allow for a redshirt unless it met some qualifications). It ended up not mattering because he left early anyway, but making a dumb decision at the end of the game is what it reminded me of.

But if there was plenty of time left in the game, the author of the article and myself for not watching the game is to blame.

Yeah, there was reasonable time to come back, if Doncic felt like he could go.

They would pull him 3 minutes into the quarter anyways.

Today, they came back from down 21 to win in overtime, with Doncic hitting the game winner in a 40 point triple double.

It was almost a 20 rebound game too.

Spoiler Alert! Just kidding, I would have just seen the box score in a few minutes anyway.

Just for full disclosure I presumed he was knocked out of the playoffs by playing through an injury that he exited right after reentering. So I guess that article and myself were stupid.

I actually thought he was going to have a 9 point, 20 rebound or assist double double.

Because of his ankle, I thought if there was any time where he would have 20 rebound or assists and only 9 points, today would be it.

But in the second half, he just kept attacking. And ended up with a good FG% too.
