Miami vs. Boston:

Boston is the better all around team, and their defense is great.

Rooting for Miami, though.

Boston in 6.

Special Trophy Presenter: Probably won't have one due to the corona virus, but if they have one, it won't be Bill Russell.

Paul Pierce, I guess, if he quarantined himself.

I changed my mind.

Miami has the best big, in Adebayo.

If I've been a supporter of his all season, I can't stop now.

Miami in 5.

Special Trophy Presenter:

This won't happen since he has disassociated himself with basketball, but Harold Miner.

Bam Adebayo will throw an alley oop to Miner, who will dunk on court.

Denver Nuggets vs. L.A. Lakers:

I have two different ways to see the Western Conference Finals.

Either:

The Nuggets have the best player in this series.

He is capable of averaging 16 rebounds in a series (what other past great bigs have done).

They have better shooters and more of them. Murray, Jokic, Harris, Porter, Grant.

They will need a different 3rd guy, to get their 4 wins.

Jokic himself is also a good free throw shooter. So it helps when your best player is, unlike on the Lakers.

OR

The Lakers defense and consistency are strong.

There's no quieting LeBron, but Anthony Davis also plays up to his potential, so that will be enough.

I will try the first path.

Denver in 7.

Trophy Presenter: I want to say T.R. Dunn, but he's too old to have any chance to come into the bubble, unless it's via a pre-recorded message.

So I'll say Antonio McDyess.

I hate switching, and going under screens.

I hate what Plumlee did.

The broadcasters said Adebayo's was the first block in a playoffs game, that prevented a go ahead shot in the final minute of a game, since play by play data was available, in 1996-1997.

I didn't believe that.

Murray just did the same thing today anyways, when he prevented the go-ahead score in the final seconds.
