Looking like it’s gonna be a good concert year.

so far I’ve got KISS in the “no seriously, this is the last one” tour, Alanis Morissette, and the Black Crowes on my radar.

I’m going to see Tyler Childers(my favorite new act) with Sturgill Simpson in March for my birthday.

Others will come along, but that’s the only one I have planned.

Also on the fence about Mudhoney in Olympia, they’re playing a small club for their Seattle date, which would be awesome, but I didn’t jump on it in time, and I’m not paying $150 for a $30 ticket... also bummed the Meat Puppets won’t be with them for their northwest shows.

sarcasm, or serious?
Serious... Don’t know which one you’re referring to, or all of them. Never been a big KISS guy, but I have a buddy who is, and it’s at the Gorge, so it’ll be a grand ol effed up time. I like Alanis Morissette, think Jagged Little Pill is a brilliant album, hoping she’s plying it in its entirety. Black Crowes are (or at least were) just a solid rock act, and a little nostalgic. Saw them open for Tom Petty in the early ‘00s, a good time was had by all.

All good. Was just curious is all.

FTR: I agree the Gorge is an awesome venue, but I wouldn't want to see any of those listed in your OP, regardless.
20-25-30 years ago would've been a different story though.

Damn...I thought that dude fell off the map.
Haven't heard much from him in years.
I liked some of his stuff. Saw him about 7 yrs ago out here at the annual Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Music Fest...and more recently back in 2016 w/ Old Crow Medicine Show.
Good to know he didn't fade away.

When’s the last year you didn’t see the Melvins?
:noidea:

Saw them twice this year.

The Bungle show is pure chance, as I had already bought the ticket for Bungle, BEFORE they announced that the Melvins and Cunts were opening for em'.

I couldn't even tell ya how many times I have seen them, but I can tell you, I will see them again.

Nothing planned yet, but also considering Kiss/David Lee Roth (playing at one of my favorite local venues).

@DarthVedder

Nothing actually close to me, I was hoping for a Tampa show. I guess I will try to go to the Baltimore show, since I wanted to visit DC this year.

Nothing in the Northwest either. Pretty sure they hate playing here.

I don't know how you can think he has fallen off the earth when he just won a damn Grammy in 2017 for country album of the year...
