Probably depends who was still there at 10, but I wouldn't mind that deal. Can't say I'd have taken guys you took at 16 and 47....but again. Not opposed to idea of that trade down.

That first pick really depends on Trent Williams tbh. If they get him...I think they should trade back.
If they don't get him I say they trade back to 15 or 16 and grab BPA: Kinlaw, McKinney, etc.

Overall, I'm one of the few who'll admit I don't have the first clue who they should take. Going by what I've heard? I guess I like the Simmons and maybe an OT in round 2 (or by moving back into round 1) or perhaps finding a vet O-lineman.

I like just taking an OT and being done with it assuming he is one of their top 2 choices at OL.

Unless they have a plan for Trent take the OT and go from there. I like Delpit at the 41 and Harrison as you had at 74. I think we need to take advantage of a deep wideout draft and take at least one

If there's an OL at 10 the team likes take the player. If not trade outta 10 & get some extra picks.
somewhat agree...not opposed at all to a trade down but don't think it's OT or bust at 10. If there is any player they feel is worthy to take at 10 and don't think they can get him later then take him IMO.

I am still on board if Simmons drops to 7 or 8 trade up to get him. Then either take an OT with 41 or trade for TW. If they get TW, go ahead and take a S at 41.

If this played out I would be very very happy.

10 - Simmons
41 - McKinney, Chinn, Delpit (doubt McKinney drops)
74 - traded to WAS for Trent
97 - BPA

Also, like

15 or 16 - BPA (trade down for a 3rd and 4th)
41 - trade up into the last first to get McKinney or another player they like (would cost a 3rd probably)
74 - traded to WAS for Trent

So really it's a great thing to have some many trade options and strategies. Should be fun to see how to plays out.

I'm just doing what I do before every draft, hope the Browns make the right picks. You know what I'm for? Whatever decisions produce the best draft results.

I think McKinney is a future perennial Pro Bowler. He'd be a great fit for the Browns. At any rate, we have to make safety a major priority in this class. Having two guys on one-year deals along with Redwine isn't ideal.

Not saying they would not be good picks nor that they are not areas of need. Just willing to admit as someone who watches no film I don't have the first clue.

My guess? They like Wirfs and Thomas the best at 10 and they might move down if neither is there (nor Simmons).

I think they need to (and could) get more to trade down to 16.

Only a douchebag would say he doesn't need to work with a QB coach when his TD to int. ratio was dead last & his rating was second to last.

McKinney ran a 4.63...I know that doesn't mean everything but I don't think he lasts to 41 anyway.

I would be happy with Delpit or Winfield Jr. One of those two guys is who I want most at this point.

I also like the Chinn kid but would be happy with getting two safety’s in the draft

Yeah I think Chinn goes mid round 2. I don't think his cover skills are as good as Delpit's or Winfield's but he can lay the wood. Very physical, great size and athleticism.

I love Winfield, I don't like he is 5'9" but I think he could be like Mathieu and he can play slot CB. Very versatile.
