The Philadelphia 76ers are trading Al Horford and first- and second-round picks to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Danny Green, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. OKC also will be sending Terrance Ferguson to the Sixers.

I like Horford but he never fit in with the Sixers

I don't have an issue with trading him but I do have an issue with the Sixers also giving up 2 picks and the rights to PG Micic

Too much to give up for Green who I like and is a good player but not that good

Once Green was traded by the Lakers, he didn't stick with the Thunder very long. Sort of what happened to Trevor Ariza with his third trip to Houston only to be informed he is going to Detroit. two examples of the proverbial cup of coffee break.

for real? it sucks they gave horford that contract in the first place, but it's sooooo nice to get out from underneath it. look around the league and see what Centers make.... now see what backup centers get.... it was a shitty contract from the start. so weird that elton brand had to be in the room seeing RIchardson and Horford go and seeing the universal praise for both and just being like, yeah, good job guys, can't believe some fuckup agreed to do what they did to get them in here.

Yep I thought about it after my post which was a knee jerk reaction at the time

To be honest I didn't think about the contract implications
