Malzahn was like 68 and 35 in 8 seasons in the SEC West. They just beat Bama last season. I mean, who they really gonna get? Do they really think Freeze can do the deal in the SEC West? Letting Gus go is 1-2 years past due but you are right: expectations are high, competing against bama for talent will always be tough, and Saban just keeps going...hard to think of a real upgrade but a shake up will help.

Realistically, I doubt we could keep him for long. But dude can coach and recruit. It's not his fault he was stuck in the hardest division in CFB.
