The point of my post is neither is under contract after 2020. If you can realize something good from trading one or both then go for it. I keep asking the same question, what are gaining that makes them worth trading? You would be creating two more holes on the team. If you have a plan that will at least balance the scales then go for it. If the plan is to create cap room to buy FAs which the team has been historically bad at then I am not for moving them.

I have stated on several occasions the way to try to win or play pretty well is do build the D right now. We have 4 good young players on the DL, Kerrigan, SDH and R. Foster at LBer. Draft an outside guy that can get more than 4 sacks a year and the team might have a D good enough to help win some games.

We have so many questions on offense I have no clue what they are going to do.

We are gaining over 40 million in cap space and getting picks to offset the cost of AS. What do we get if we keep them? 4 wins instead of 2?
