It's hard to believe Daniel Jones' rapid paced improvement. He was in the class of 2015 and gray-shirted sitting out and paying his own way that first Fall Semester, then getting a scholarship in the Spring of 2016. I remember Duke hosted 14 commits the same December weekend with Jones being the sole undecided and uncommitted, even though he was looking at a previous commitment to Princeton. Look at him now.

For me, the most impressive thing is that he quarterbacked Duke to a pair of Bowl wins. He's the 1st Blue Devil to do that.

Kind of sad considering how much easier it is to make it to bowl games and those wins were over Temple and Northern Illinois. Think his markee win was against 15th ranked North Carolina personally, not 2 exhibition wins against non AQ schools. Duke has been fighting to become better in football and they are beating most of the teams they should beat.
