TNT says that this is the first time in 27 games that Draymond Green had a triple double, and Golden State lost.

@MHSL82:

http://bkref.com/tiny/IeuuL

There have been 40 multiple overtime playoffs games.

They are duplicated on that list, because it lists each game twice (once for each home team).

What we need to see:

1) How many times has the home team won? What about the road team?

2) Did the winner of the game, win the next game in the series?

There have been 500 games in regular season history (again, it lists double the amount, so 1,000).

What we need to see:

1) How many times has the home team won? What about the road team?

On the filter, I say “won.” That way it will only show once per game.

All 4 series tied at 2 all:

2004 NBA Playoffs Summary | Basketball-Reference.com

1994 and 1995 and 2015 also had every series go at least 6 games, but one series had a 3 - 1 lead in those years. Actually 1994 had a 3 - 1 series that was extended to 6 games, and a 3 - 0 series that was extended to 7 games.

1977 also had every series go at least 6 games, but two series had a 3 - 1 lead that was extended to 6 games.

1976 had every series go at least 6 games, but Phoenix had a 3 - 1 lead that was extended to 6 games.

There was also this series where they rotated home court every game???

1976 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals - Washington Bullets vs. Cleveland Cavaliers | Basketball-Reference.com

In 1967, it was a best of 5, so I stopped checking prior to that.

So all four conference semifinals have only been tied at 2 all once in history, 2004.

OK the Bucks best the Celtics to go up 3-1, so it didn’t turn out this way, but there was a possibility that all four series could be tied 2-2. Has that happened before? How often has it ever happened? I don’t want to look it all up, but if you know that happens all the time could you let me know? @nuraman00

I didn’t see it.

Well, why don't you ask Siri to read threads for you? Since you like using voice features so much. ;)

Just like the Jazz should not lose when Harden was 0-14 to start the game, the Rockets should not be down by 20 when Curry has five points. I don’t care how good Durant and Thompson are.

The Warriors are probably rebounding well against the Rockets, just like the Rockets were against the Jazz.

More chances to score by more shot opportunities.

Portland is 3-3 on the road in the playoffs this year.

Road teams are 1374-2625 (.344) in playoff history if you count this game.

Team Game Finder | Basketball-Reference.com

But 3-3 is a really small sample size. 2-4 would be below the historical rate.

Against 1 or 2 seeds, 3 Seeds or below are 288-1002 (.223) historically, but not all of the Portland 3-3 games were against 1/2 seeds.

Portland vs. Denver:

It was hard to watch the first half of game 7. Portland looked out of it.

They were down 17 in the 2nd.

Lillard didn't shoot well all game, he went 3 - 17, but as I've said a few times this year, I've liked his overall PG play this year. He got rebounds, assists, and a key steal early in the game.

Almost had a triple double in a game 7. When Westbrook did that in 2011, it was the first time since Pippen had done it in 1994.

He was still making an impact.

Congrats to CJ. Great game 7.

CJ is really good at runners off the glass.

They made their FTs.

Evan Turner is not a good FT shooter, but he went 8-9 today. Great job.

4 turnovers all game.

That's what you need to do, rebound and protect the ball, and not be sloppy.

Harkless also had a key play.

I've been down on CJ this year, because he's not getting to the foul line as much this year, as in past years.

But he was great these last 2 games, especially with 37 points in a game 7 and 0 turnovers.

Philly vs Toronto:

Another competitive game 7.

It came down to the last shot. Funny how there had never been a buzzer beater game 7 before.

2 game 7's that came down to the final seconds. It's rare that it happens in both games in a day.

A 4 bounce buzzer beater.

Lowry came up with big rebounds and steals, so good to see him aggressive, even if he wasn't scoring well.

Well, then, I’m happy the Warriors won. I understand that it’s a competitive game and you are trying to get every advantage as possible. Throwing Curry off would’ve been a competitive advantage.

But some things are cheap. Compete. I don’t put it past other players, even on the Warriors, to pull a similar move, but I think whatever is bad, is bad. In this case, a Rockets player did it, then that’s bad on the Rockets player. If the Warriors do it later or have done it in the past, bad on them.

I understand it is Home Court advantage as well, but the Warriors were the higher seed. This just happened to be in Houston. I don’t know if similar things have happened at Oracle Arena.

I don’t prescribe to the “everyone does it“ philosophy. I say if somebody does it, it’s bad. In this case, there’s no punishment for it because I don’t know if it is against the rules. I just think it is cheap. Even if everyone is cheap. Some people say that it puts emphasis not being caught and those who are better at being not caught benefit, well then, so be it. No shit. Don’t get caught. Or don’t do it. Compete.

Disclaimer: I don’t know if Curry had scheduled that time so that Rockets players couldn’t practice at that time, but if it was scheduled, that should be honored.
