20+ yards a catch, that's the 7-8th ranked dude, sounds like a guy who is most likely simply a better athlete than his defenders, and just beat em deep or our jumped em. Having not seen him, I'm only guessing. But with that size and stats, not being high up on the list, I'm guessing he's not a very polished overall receiver
i only watched him a few games. curious how he works out, just have an eye on him

Walter football doesn't even rank him..odd
ive found walters rankings and analysis abysmal the past few years TBH, dont get me wrong, i read them. BUt like montgomery he has waaaaaaaaaaaay down there.......some of his stuff is so outdated, he will rank at the beginning of the year, and then not update, or only update 1-2 guys on a list

Think Tyler Murray actually ends up in the NFL? Personally, my money is on the MLB.

Not sure how he is leaning.

Ultimately I don't see him fitting in as a regular QB. He could follow Lamar Jackson where you need to make a serious move to a play-action / run heavy offense.

In my view it would be easier to get back into baseball after you try NFL rather than the other way. If a NFL team puts enough stock in you they will want to see you succeed. Without enough incentive on their end (be it draft capital, higher contract, etc) I don't think you shift your offensive identity in that way to make a free agent your QB.

He will make a lot more money sooner playing football. So my bet is that is where he goes.

True, but longer career, guaranteed contracts, and much lower expectations of immediate excellence the other way. And the with leverage of the NFL, can easily negotiate a signing bonus that'll make immediate money less relevant.

its far more likely that he succeeds in football than baseball, also far more likely he gets playing time in the big leages in football MUCH sooner than baseball. Baseball hes gonna ride many leagues of the minors, before even getting a shot. and if he fails they dont care because they have 230492304209 billion guys in their system and draft 230 guys a year. football there is a big investment, and you go right to the big team.

Also auch greater chance he's out of the league in 3 years if he isnt immediately great. No one is taking a a second chance on a 5'8" QB. ZERO chance of hanging around the league if he's not something special
