So Herbert is staying another year @ Oregon...
Interesting decision, especially considering next years QB's look to be much more crowded at the top than this year's do. And he should've easily been one of the top 3, if not the #1 QB this year.

Yeah could be costing him some money this year,
I read he wanted to play college ball with his younger brother and the Ducks offered his brother this year and he accepted ..

It’s a dumb call money wise and draft stock wise, but he needed work

I think he’s a little gun shy, against my Huskies I noticed after he took a couple shots to his body he was throwing the ball up more, just getting rid balls in the dirt or airmailing them over his receivers head before they even came out of their routes

i agree. BUt is his draft stock gonna get higher \? next years draft class is even better, hes probably gonna drop actually, but may be more ready.......so he may make less, and lose draft stock by coming back.

I don't know if he can get higher, ( McShay had him on the top)
Question is how much he falls if he gets hurt?

You think?

YEs.

He has all the arm talent in the world, but he can't read the field. He makes most of his reads presnap.

LSU figured that out and tried to disguise their coverages. Since then, other teams have tried to employ similar tactics and Tua has struggled (relatively).

He will still beat good college defenses, but at the next level opposing DCs will be able to expose his weaknesses and he will make a lot of mistakes that most college defenses just aren't good enough to exploit.

20+ yards a catch, that's the 7-8th ranked dude, sounds like a guy who is most likely simply a better athlete than his defenders, and just beat em deep or our jumped em. Having not seen him, I'm only guessing. But with that size and stats, not being high up on the list, I'm guessing he's not a very polished overall receiver
